Back in the day when I played, I had a contusion in my thigh. The Physical Therapist tried to bring me back too soon by having me work the muscle. I was only supposed to work the muscle as much as I could handle the pain. Being a young macho player I could handle a lot of pain. I was actually tearing the muscle more. Not until a more senior Physical Therapist examined me, was the decision made for me to fully heal before doing any rehab. That initial PT work extended my injury recovery time by a good 8 weeks. My bias is Chelsea have a crappy medical department.

I called it back in December I called it and said that Lavia will most likely miss the rest of the season. When the "PR medical staff" tell player will be out of 8 - 12 weeks you can assume to multiply X 2 or X 3. Remember Carney when we were told that he was supposed to miss 6 weeks and ended up been almost 6 months! Just to be clear, I am telling you now Nkuku will miss the rest of the season, just watch next couple weeks PR announcement they are taking "precaution" in bringing the player back to train and since we are heading to the last few games of the season most likely we won't see him playing again this season! This is why people need to realize that Chelsea's problem is not only on the football side but is all over the club as a business entity we are in total shambles! 💩🤡🤦‍♂

The reason is just in front of us. Players having their own private medical team means only one-THEY HAVE ZERO FAITH IN THE COBHAM MEDICAL PERSONNEL AND FACILITIES. The players believe they can get better medical attention outside.

There's plenty of proof of conflict between players private medical staff and the clubs, for example last time reece came back his physio posted that he fully didn't support him being back so early, surprise surprise he was injured again like a week or two later. Same with chalobah

I won't be surprised if our HR team knows more than they are willing to let out for the injuries from considerations of the market value of our players. This would actually be the best case scenario for the club. If it is not like that, our whole medical department should be fired and we should bring quality replacements on their places, because a top club needs a top medical staff. Any serious injury in the last years has taken forever to recover. Reece (multiple times), Chilly, Fofana, Nkunku (information on him was incorrect all three times that he got injured), Uguchukwo, Chukwuemeka and most of all - Lavia. It is a disaster.

I have a conspiracy theory, some (very few) players are faking the injury because they know they won't get game time under poch. I won't be surprised if another gaffer walks in we start seeing most player fully recovered and fit. Look at carni for example...he knows he's not getting game time and warming up the bench just looks bad for his image. Just a conspiracy theory tho.

Well done Younes! Our injury record has been appalling and needs to be addressed. I think it's not long ago we have had fitness coaches dismissed where they ever replaced. We had periods where we had bad injury records under Roman but it was only for short periods and then players got back to fitness again. Our record of bad injuries goes back as far as Tuchel. However we also had a problem of saying aging players but we know have virtually all YOUNG PLAYERS so why is this happening. I'have to say the repsonsibility goes down to the management. We have a catalogue of bad decisons and nothing seems to have remedied the situation. From scouting to buying players to financial management, some bad decisons. In the beginning we said "These guys are smart, they know what they're doing." It seems at least in football, they don't. It doesn't just stop at Chelsea, BlueCo bought Strasbourg and now the side is in danger of relegation with fans wanting BlueCo gone. So I say not just with the injuries but the management of the club generally, what has been going on and why has the club been managed so badly? There is also FA sanctions coming our way which could be made even worse if we don't get our FFP situation sorted.
