@@Deanne-se1bl I respect his experience but I don't think he has Chelsea right at all. All of the other girls are behind her, she's had the pre-psych evals, she's in therapy, I think it is unfair to say she's "not getting it." Even Dr. Honda says he is going based on an edit and isn't assuming she has borderline. AND if you watched his last video, he actually commented on how he doesn't think he's been truly listening to her because he's been listening through a filter. He's using the example from the show for his students on how things present - not to jump to conclusions on how she actually is.

@@nicoled1787exactly. He’s also not listening to podcasts Chelsea did and what others have said that back up her side of the story. He’s breaking down an “edited” Chelsea, and ignoring all the crap Jimmy did off camera. Which basically makes his words mean squat. It would be equivalent to a married couple coming to see him and he only listens to the husband’s side, then breaks down the wife’s “personality disorder“ based on what he said. I used to watch him, but I can’t after seeing how unprofessionally he’s covered Chelsea/jimmy. 😣🥴

This podcast is like seeing two delusional friends supporting each other blindly. No accountability, no i love you but you were wrong to say/ do that. Hopefully one day Chelsea would take some accountability and move on.

Chelsea is a sweetheart, she beams with light and positivity. I hope she keeps some secrets from the pods and uses that to relaunch her podcast. I would go as far as saying that Chelsea was the sweetest girl in the cast, I feel genuine kindness in her. From what we saw, there was a disconnect in both Jimmy and Chelsea from the start. Even the engagement felt off. I think Chelsea felt that and her gut feeling just wouldn’t go away which is why she kept asking him for reassurance. As a viewer, you could see that when she says his words didnt match his actions is true. I didnt get the impression that he was in love. He also had so many opportunities to take a tiny bit of the fall to support Chelsea and wouldn’t (on Nick’s podcast). I get that Chelsea displayed insecurities but nobody is perfect and if he truly cares for her - I think that’s the least he could have done. I understand being cordial but still being friends… idk. I would tell her to focus on herself and truly walk away from all that. Real healing awaits! In the end, I wish them both only the very best ❤

Host did a good job positively reaffirming Chelsea. Now Chelsea, maybe she did get a bad edit on the show (not a Chelsea fan at all lol) but shes holding herself accountable & that's respectable. Jimmy is a ding dong too though. He looked like a clown on the show & his edit wasn't that great either. Everytime they said 'i love you', felt so damn empty & forced. They both were never right for each other.

Passing the psych eval doesn't mean much on this show. Carlton passed, Jessica (s1), Danielle, Matt, Zanab, Irina, JP, Carter, Trevor, Matthew, Clay, etc. I'm sure I'm missing people but let's be serious. That's not a flex. I think they let people in who have major relational issues so the show has drama. They RECRUITED Jeremy who was engaged 3 weeks before. That's crazy.

The psychological evaluation can’t tell if you’re insecure or avoidant of accountability 😅😅 She passed because she’s not a psycho, not a potential killer, not mean, and probably didn’t have bad intentions. I’m sure she truly wanted to find love and get married. Also, how much can we trust Netflix’s evaluations considering the other cast members they’ve let be on TV 😅

Despite what she says of herself and how others generally see her, Chelsea appears to have issues in relationships that are very deep. Her behavior shown was VERY abnormal and dysfunctional. The issue is not just the men she selects but is also very much re her. Her behavior shown was consistent with the behavior and thoughts of someone with a borderline personality disorder. You can have that and mainly show those traits in a relationship and not friendships. She needs to be able to see this and work on it if she wants healthy relationships in the future. Jimmy has his weaknesses but he doesn't appear to have done anything so awful to be so written off or blamed solely. He did not make her feel secure seems to be her main truth but that is at least as much re her as it is him. The vague talk re him going out did NOT appear like much of that had happened prior to their big fight and apparently the butt dial incident happened later. By then he probably really needed to talk and let off steam and was likely deciding whether to quit this. I am so tired of hearing re good or bad edit. Her behavior shown was very abnormal and a big red flag and she continues to take virtually no responsibility for her behavior. Her behavior was not manufactured by the show but were things she actually said and did.

He always made it a point in front of everybody that he had the 'best' relationship with Chelsea & he HAD to drive that point home each & every time he was in front of everyone else. Fake AF. Inappropriately complimenting AD like that...seemed weird. His 'I love yous' were empty man....no genuine emotion behind them.

Thank you! Everyone who knows human behavior could sense Jimmy was a bad person from the beginning. We all (my fiancé friends etc who wayched the show) said from the start that Chelsea would never act this way if Jimmy didn’t treat her this way: poor girl, she fell in love and fell into desperation. And btw she does look like Megan fox and I solute Shane Dawson and the ppl on his podcast for sticking up for Chelsea with this. Yes she was whiny but all females have been in this situation one time or another. Life isn’t what you hear playing Fortnite or seeing commentary on YT. Real Life is rough and she showed us some raw real emotions. Chelsea you were our favorite!

Since no one answered, I can try. Here's a hypothetical based on the show and everything Chelsea has shared in podcasts, assuming it's accurate. I'm a guy and I'm in the pods. I hit it off with a woman and we share who our celebrity lookalikes are. She mentions some names, I mention a few names and tell her I've been told I resemble Keanu Reeves. We get engaged, we have the reveal, I'm so happy to meet her. She's separately filmed saying that I 'lied' to her and don't look as much like Keanu Reeves as she had hoped. Ouch. She says things like 'I can work with that', in regards to my looks. Jeez. Then on the days leading up to our *marriage* she does things like... complimenting a male cast mate's body part, texts her male friends constantly throughout the day, including a guy she had an affair with, goes out to bars frequently with her male friends... and when I ask her to cut down on these things as someone who's about to be her husband, she says 'if you tell me not to do those things, I'm just going to do it even more'... all while claiming I'm the best thing that's ever happened to her and that she loves me so much. Then, towards the end, she dumps me. The show airs and I'm made to look like a clingy partner and very little of her unpleasant behavior is shown. She doesn't even defend me to the public because she's afraid of the backlash. Would I, as a man, feel belittled by that experience? For sure.

I truly dislike Chelsea. However, I guess I can tolerate her. I just find her beyond fake and very manipulative into narrating things to favor her perspective, instead of just keeping it real. Like, I love a blunt straight forward person. Whom admits pros and cons of their own self. All I see in her is gaslighting back and forth. The man was clear he didn’t like you, yet her main priority till this day is him. On other podcasts/interviews she was asked what’s your current state with Jimmy, and her answer was very different, as if the door was still open and here she said single. Why can’t she just be authentic with everyone and not role the dice with each person differently. And there’re many more other factors. On the other hand I do feel she ruined Jessica’s chance for true love by sabotaging her opportunity to be with Jimmy. But then again I feel she did her a favor by keeping him away from

Chelsea what's the point of these types of interviews? Do you want ppl to see your side? If so, you need to stop protecting Jimmy and share more of what how he acted off camera OR how the edit is helping him save face specifically? Based on the current edit and the current level of info you're offering, Psychologists (e.g., Dr Kirk Honda, Psychology in Seattle) and a lot of ppl are calling you abusive, with a borderline personality. You need to stop protecting Jimmy and be more elaborate and specific in describing how he didn't make you his priority or which of his (not so great) reactions were left off the edit, during your arguments.

‘Clingy’ and ‘obsessed’ with the person you love are not the same thing. There was an opportunity for growth here and I understand it’s not easy to be brutally honest if you’re a new podcaster trying to win over your guests, but being a good friend, good person, good woman means being real with people. Being a “girls’ girl” doesn’t mean you shouldn’t tell another girl when she’s not thinking clearly. Telling every woman “you’re gorgeous” is not helping the problem. The way to dismantle unrealistic beauty standards is not to tell everyone they’re beautiful; it’s to remove the notion that exterior beauty is a necessity for love and for life. It’s nice to give people space to open up, however: we should be cautious about how we present our perspective in opening up that space. In this case, there’s a need for the interviewer to grow her podcast so she has an underlying agenda to be agreeable (at this point anyway, hopefully she realizes positive interactions can happen with the truth being laid out even if it’s uncomfortable, and still bring growth to the channel).
