great video would love to see how you setup a chassis though in terms of spring rates for each application, digressive vs linear piston for drifting , true rear vs shock and spring, camber, castor etc etc

Awesome video and info as always! I remember when you let me bring my junk MX73 to your shop and you schooled me in bolt checking my crap. After upgrading to e46 I broke the clutch pedal twice and brake pedal once as well which was super sketchy. I hope I can make the trip back down from Canada to drive with you again soon!

maybe all this "snug not super tight" is your problem. my mate has the same weird issue, i have to bolt check his work, he would rather leave stuff loose than strip it, if it strips it was weak and needing addressing anyway! i may have way less drifting hours than you but i worked as a mechanic for about 5 years and my drift car has been to many events and been daily driven for years and ive never had any bolt come loose that i can remember, i tighten the shit out of everything and torque important stuff to spec, its either tight or not and just snug doesn't sound tight. great video tho and very informative as always, love your content

The top of my e46 accelerator pedal is a hinge riveted in it works great 😂👌🏻 (its pre drive by wire 99’)
@andI201d4 жыл бұрын
i tried that on my the bottom of mine but the rivets always pulled through. ended up buying another used pedal. you mount the hinge in front or behind it?
@finnice4 жыл бұрын
aayyoo Aah that’s annoying I have some big face diameter aircraft rivets and I didn’t compress them fully so as not to split the plastic. (Cut off the spike with a grinder) It was a few years ago now but I seem to remember I flattened the back of the pedal with said grinder to fit the hinge and with the flat face of the rivets facing towards the driver. I can’t exactly remember how I attached the hinge to the lever but probably zip ties...
