Speaking Turkish | What’s in my bag?

I've seen these "What's in my bag" videos circulating around KZbin for a while now so I thought I'd try my hand at it, while speaking Turkish! I'm still practicing my Turkish language skills so I'm nowhere near perfect but video like this are a good way to practice. Let me know what other kinds of videos you guys wants to see in the future!

Hey Chelsea, yeah you use the word "bence" constantly. Actually, "bence" does not mean "I think" completely. You can use it but not every time. You can use "sanırım" instead of "bence". Like 2:29 you say "bence 5 yıl önce şunu aldım." but it's not an proper sentence. You may say "sanırım bunu 5 yıl önce aldım."

I mean you use the word "sanırım" for the situations in that you can't remember when it happens, what happens, why it happens etc. You use the word "bence" for the situations in that you express your own thoughts about something.

Exactly, "bence" is more like "in my opinion" as you can guess it has "I/me = Ben" additionaly "-ce" which translates roughly into "as for me" so you can also use "Bana göre" instead "Bence".

Hello Chelsea You are improving day to day! I noticed something at your Turkish. It's yourpronounciation for some phrases. Like "Neyse Boşver" Dont know why but I like that. Your Turkish pronounciation is very good. Keep up with it! But as a Turkish language user I suggest you to practice for the sentence structure (I dunno how to say it hope its true:) I guess, you are practicing for it but you should do more. Because some of your sentences are inverted (we call that devrik cümle). Try to put verb at the last of your sentence. It's the biggest difference between English and Turkish.(When I say sentence structure I'm just tring to say "cümle kurulumu") I hope you understand me. I love your work and your determination.
