This is so much more than just a sim racing channel, the way you attack a subject using our state of mind and not by attacking the apex is exactly what people need to know to build motivation, thank you for sharing , now im off to practice 💪🏁

I can confirm that your advice about pushing through the frustration, and then take small break, and come back with improved results actually works. I used to work very hard in morning doing electronic troubleshooting, get very frustrated, then go to lunch, have sandwich, beer, and a smoke, then go back to work, and immediately solve previous problems right away. It became a daily routine, and people would ask for advice, and I would say, “After lunch”.

I have to learn almost monthly 200 new streets in BadenWurtemberg and sometimes I need a week and sometimes I need entire month! Every time I approach the new part of certain town with relax approach I don’t remember anything next day ! Every time I do mistake I remember forever that place 😂

You are my motivation bro. I remembered one day I woke up early and play ACC. I made mistakes after mistakes until I felt frustrated and gave up. Shutdown my computer, Gondor morning walk, showers and play with my kids without thinking much of my morning driving failure. I came back strong in the evening on the same day and I corrected my mistake. And as always, after practice for hours, watching your video is always relax myself. Thanks again.

It 's funny that I started watching your video's for sim racing because we share a common passion, but I never thought that you were able to teach me something about myself. Now I understand something I have been doing all my life. Not just in racing, but all things in life I would drive myself crazy in frustration, only to take a step back and calm down to find the solution and move forward. Now I realise that only going through this frustration I am able to better my abilities in all things, where as I always saw it as a negative aspect, I can now embrace it and see it as a positive thing. Thank you.

I was trying to understand how I was achieving my goals and my mom always asked me why things must come so hard in my life ! The frustration and the madness every time not just for driving but in anything in my life ! I became super curious how we work as mechanism and found so much information out there is just crazy 😃

I believe that I told you before that there was a time when I was going to hang up Sim racing. Between spin outs, slow cars and online racing fear I didn't want to do it anymore. I have good equipment and couldn't finish in top 12 finish after lots of practice. Then I find your channel and get motivated to keep going. Time after time I keep driving after getting frustrated and keep practicing. I love Sim racing. I still am not as good as I want to be, but you always keep me going Thank you for words.

Fantastic video. Thank you. In my practice sessions I've been pushing through frustration to reach a certain goal, and once I hit it, I 'reward' myself by taking a break, but intuitively felt there could be more. What this video teaches us is that moment and sensation where I've been stopping is the one where I should keep going.

Excellent video and great advice. A few days ago, i had a day all to myself so i planned on smashing laps round Brands on ACC. Didn't take long for that frustration to set in as i did nothing but make mistakes and spin off everywhere so i turned it all off and sat down in a huff!! Went back on later that evening just to do a bit of 'sunday driving' and have a mess with set-ups and motech. That Dopamine kicked in straight away!! Had a cracking session and even managed to knock 0.3s off my PB!! Didn't even change my set-up either!! Was so engrossed in doing lap after lap and really enjoying myself. I've done this countless times over the years, bad session after bad session, spinning off everywhere, turning everything off in total frustrastion only to come back a few hours later and drive 10x better!! Now, thanks to you and this video, i know why i do that :) Thankyou for putting this video up, it's one i'll not forget :)

Very interesting and educational video ! 👍 I will apply the 10mn eyes closed after all my practice session from now on 🎊🍻 I'm at that point where I work for the last tenth (IRL or Sim) mostly on iRacing. When I help friends to be faster I always compare driving with learning an instrument... It's exactly the same brain work. I'll add that, frustration is good, but you have to mix it with patience, cause if not, you'll miss the point of continuing while frustrated and adds more frustration and even anger, driving you to only mistakes and no progression. Cheers 😁👍

Very interesting. Makes sense on how i feel when i hype myself up to race, then start crashing and give up after a hr of spinnin. Come back a couple hrs later. Im hittin all my points and not hittin that damn spot on turn with my tire, causing the spin.

You have the most realistic setup I have ever seen. Can you tell us your setting in ACC for the triple screen FOV? I have triple screen too but I couldn't get the same view as you in ACC. Thanks. Great work!

Don't give up bro, I was racing my favorite track summit point in the mx5 and I couldn't get a win or even a decent finish after 6 starts cuz everything kept going wrong but then on the 7th I qualified 1st with a half sec gap to 2nd then finished 1st with a 10sec gap to 2nd in the race and boy was I ready to give up. Don't give up

Frustration is our best friend bro 😃 We always have to remember that ! I was beating my head for ages but always find the way to taste little reward! We are here for the experience of the life and not for the end result! As much more we sacrifice that much more tasty the reward it 💪

Wen I first jump online racing 15 years ago and found how many fast drivers are around the world I felt helpless! I start driving 6-8 hours every day for two years and on the third I was wining almost everything 💪 It felt impossible at the beginning till at some point worked out ! There’s was moments I was thinking I will never reach this level but I just keep working 😃
