@@TheBrownIsland What she said on the May 1998 airing of "Sonny & Me. Cher Remembers" when talking about the Letterman appearance & singing "I Got You Babe"..... is "that it started out being really great but then everyone was crying everywhere...you know Mary was crying, Chastity was crying....pages were crying.. you know the audience was crying so it was a little bit hard for me when everyone started getting so emotional". So, in her own words, she was uncomfortable when everyone started crying. I haven't played that show's DVD for a few years; so it was nice to get it out to listen to it & make sure I quoted her correctly. They were great together!

Sonny was so corny but sincere, nothing was fake about him. Cher was sexy, very talented and finally realized it, and was also authentic. The love they shared for each was a reality that never lessened because of their divorce. They both needled each other, but did find success and happiness without each other. We the audience loved them because they loved each other. That was the biggest draw to their popularity. The very real comedy, talent was the icing on the cake.

@@mts959 They divorced cause Cher wanted to be a whore and play around and was tired of Sonny controlling everything!!!! What Cher and many others fail to realize without Sonny Bono there would be no Cher!!! Sonny the Italian was the brains behind them making it even Cher admitted that when he died but for many years she trashed him especially in the 80's when she made it superbug typical whore they use you till they get what they want!!!!! RIP Sonny Bono a great entertainer who never got the credit he deserved!!!

@@mts959 There are quite of videos you can research on YT where both of them have said they loved the other. In a joint press conference with Cher, after the divorce, Sonny said he still loved Cher.."just not the marrying kind". Also, in a November 2018 interview with Cher promoting her Broadway play "The Cher Show", the interviewer asked about the men she's been with over the decades. Cher said the one she misses & loves the most is Sonny & "if he were to walk through that door right now, we would be Sonny & Cher again in about 2 seconds".

@@tpajay Valentino Cher didn't leave Sonny to become a "whore" as you say. Sonny was the one who cheated all through their marriage. Towards the end he even moved his girlfriend (Connie ) into the family home. Cher has discussed all of this. He was a huge womanizer. Cher said she left him because he was a cheater & because he controlled every aspect of her life. For example: she wasn't allowed to order off the menu at a restaurant. He ordered for her without asking her what she wanted. He was not the affable guy we saw on TV.

comalaism She's old - when she and her idiotic, moronic minion followers like you accept it .... the better off you'll both be. She's not even normal looking anymore. Not only is she old, but she's no longer relevant and no matter how many face alterations she has, that won't change at this stage. Facts are sometimes inconvenient, I know ... nonetheless, they remain facts. As I said, I LOVED her before she became an OLD woman who couldn't accept being an old woman and tried way too hard to be cool as compensation for something she couldn't accept.
