It's not going to be a "women's" league, it's going to be a men in drag claiming to be "women" league. Caitlin won't be able to play against a biological male who will be faster, stronger, better reaction, and with four other fake women helping him against her. The US Olympic Team players are suffering the consequences of the jealousy and stupidity of the WNBA and Olympic Team officials responsible for deciding there would be no rookie on this years' Team and no player named Caitlin Clark on the Team either, but there would be a 42 year old Diana Taurasi on the Team because she wanted to win one more Olympic gold medal to have more than Sue Bird. We need to start planning our award ceremony for Cheryl "I don't give two shits" Reeve, Jennifer Rissotti, Cathy Engelbert, and the rest of the brilliant basketball minds in the WNBA, on the US Olympic Team Committee ( including Adam Silver of the NBA that owns 50 percent of the WNBA) for the great work they did on keeping Caitlin Clark off the US Women's Olympic Basketball Team. And we have to give special thanks to Diana Taurasi, who wanted to be on the Team so she have one more than Sue Bird. What a patriot that Diana Taurasi is. "Lindsay Schnell, a USA Today Sports Reporter,, is the one who informed us Taurasi "would want you to know that she is going to Paris to earn one more Gold Medal than her best friend Sue Bird, the long time point guard who has five Gold Medals." www.msn.com/en-us/sports/other/10-reasons-why-caitlin-clark-is-not-on-us-women-s-basketball-roster-for-2024-olympic/ar-BB1r1JYb?ocid=widgetonlockscreen&cvid=4d8dd825430041148ef0af91ee79eaeb&ei=34

Cheryl Reeve is an idiot and a liar. Which is why she's become the self-anointed poster child for Envy in the world of women's professional basketball. Her $700k salary is nearly three times that of MVP Aja Wilson, which in itself is a shocking travesty, but she seems to be blinded by stark insecurity. Whatever lunacy drives her decision-making, it mirrors a short-sided, league-wide ignorance whereby NEW fans flocking to the WNBA - fans they have been thirsting for and complaining about not embracing their product - are ushered in to an envious, petty environment that is dripping with militant bullies, trash-talking coaches, horrible officials and third-rate media hacks who are introducing them to the WNBA brand of basketball by essentially dismissing their enthusiasm, eyeballs and spending power, all while telling them they don't "give two shits" (yes YOU, Cheryl Reeve). Caitlin Clark brings in TWO MILLION NEW FANS to a sport no one has cared about for thirty years and as a league you collectively decide the first thing to do is piss them off? Meanwhile, Caitlin Clark is the only one who hasn't said anything negative about anyone, and Cheryl Reeve doesn't seem to have the capability of keeping her foot out of her own big fat mouth. The magnitude of such bitter jealousy is only matched in its sheer stupidity. This is how to treat the new fans you covet, who are left with the sour taste of this lasting, first impression.. "Welcome to the WBA!"

Clark is Maravich and Curry combined. That's why she is fun to watch. Very creative passer and ballhandler. Watching Reese is so painful except when she butchers put backs by just chucking it up and triple dribbling. She is a typical player. But Clark is exciting and refreshing from a showmanship point as well as being just plain FUN to watch. There is nothing to do with any of the other factors people are making it out to be. She is thriving despite being a target every single minute she's in the game. That kind of attention should clear any doubts of her impact. The Olympic committee missed the boat on growing the popularity of their sport on the Biggest stage out there. Imagine denying the world of the most generalization player in its history. The money left on the table is unreal. They would be show casing their league to the world and inspire all the young girls.. It would be in front of frenzied packed arenas. Sad that jealousy, envy, and prejudice ruled the moment. Though I have and will not watch a WNBA game, I do thoroughly enjoy Clark's highlights. I probably would have watched her in the Olympics.

Caitlin Clark There’s never been a Caitlin Clark. She’s Iowa’s finest work of art. Unselfishly she plays her heart. She paints good pictures of our parts. If we could share, on the court of life- Give real assists to those alive- And score some points that count for good, This world would change, perhaps it should. The way that Caitlin plays inspires. She obviously is filled with fire. But she maintains the calm approach. She’s not disturbed when she’s encroached. She tries to help her teammates score. She’s a leader whom they adore. Her fame is built on true finesse. A humble spirit describes her best. She’s deceptive with the ball. Unlikely will they steal at all. She tries to help to make her team Feel supreme in all their dreams. Success she’s found upon the court. And her example has import. If we could all just share the ball This world would change, we’d hear God’s call. Caitlin if you read this rhyme Know I love your play design. You inspire us with your play. In todays world we see this happen all too often , nobody is ever held accountable for making wrongful choices. The lack of interest is two-fold. It has possibly more than one aspect to the entire debacle as it relates to attendance and fan participation. It may not only be the lack of interest for the players that were selected, but also for the players not selected. It will be interesting to see what happens in the second half of the WNBA league. I'm a filipino living in the philippines and take note THIS IS MY FIRST TIME TO WATCH WNBA. Because of CAITLIN CLARK she ATTRACKS really really on how she plays she is a FEMALE VERSION of Steph Curry. I really really admire her nd she is a HUMBLE person.👍❤️👍❤️👍❤️

It's so crazy that C.C has made such a impact for a sport so under the radar for me personally here in N.Z, I didn't realize or know of the WNBA till she came along. C.C effect is real and I'm a late fan. 😊

I’m a huge CC since her Jr year at Iowa, but the notion that the horrible call that penalized the entire Lynx organization was due to Clark not being on the Olympic team is ridiculous!

2 MAIN REASONS WHY CAITLIN CLARK is the BEST overall player. She brake's record's over and over, and in My OPINION I never heard her say anything negative about anything. She's a professional.

I think Caitlin Clark is great , but isn’t there anything else going on in women’s basketball? If not, then her talent alone isn’t going to attract more fans once the controversy blows over. If the media keeps it alive by beating what is quickly becoming a dead horse most people will loose interest in the WNBA.

The bias shown by Reeve, Terasi, etc. and all those in involved in selecting the US olympic Womens Basketball team (Team USA), is both obvious and disgusting. The old, incompetent WNBA guard that decided to exclude Caitlin Clark reflecks racial bias, jealousy, and some say orientation discrimination because CC is not a lesbian. Proof of this is that after that decision was made Team USA played against the WNBA All-Star team. Team USA lost to the WNBA All-Star team on Saturday night 117-109. Caitlin Clark played a briliant game and helped crush the Team USA. Reeve, Terasi, and all the others involved in the decision to not include Caitlin Clark should be fired. Adding to the strong reaction - was several major stars in the NBA voiced their astonishment and disgust with Reeve decision to exclude Caitlin Clark. I watched a few of the US Olympic basketball games. The US won a medal - but they looked like the slow tired old WNBA. Lucky their opponents were not top drawer. Their plays were sloppy and often amateurish. Cathy Englebert, or whoever manages the whole WNBA needs a wake up call. Time to clean house.

The directors and the committee members of the Olympic USA Women’s basketball team should all be fired! Because of Ms. Clark many of us started watching the WNBA. My family don’t watch the WNBA if Ms. Clark is not playing. We will not watch the 2024 USA 🇺🇸 Olympics women’s basketball team even they pay us.
@rons89003 ай бұрын
WNBA pre Clark, 2,3 maybe an occasional 4,000 attendees. Clark arrives and larger venues are used to hold the crowds 4/5 times bigger. Olympics with no Clark, back to minimal attendance. I see a correlation here.

I'm also one of those followers that never really put to much attention to female basketball until I saw c.c. play a fenomenal female with greatness with a basketball,what surprised me how she plays as a teammate sharing the ball with her team , I don't understand the jealousy of other players , she is probably like the great Koby Bryan practice practice practice makes perfection,now that is success,❤C.C. ,and bless u ! can't wait to see u play
