If you wanted to state, that "only guilty people get themselves lawyers", then I'd 1000% disagree.
@leagueaddict83579 ай бұрын
Hans just wasn't very smart about it Hikaru can pretty much just point out why it is ridiculous as he streams most of the Chess games he plays online, so if you think he was cheating you could actually look up that very stream, and see his moves he very often says something about them too like attacking on x side or another generalization that explains how he can come up with a lot of moves so, therefore, it is very difficult to believe Hikaru would be cheating which I can't rule out 100%, but he has been a very strong player for very long, and with him recording himself, explaining moves it is as close to being sure that he has never cheated you could possibly be unless you are standing directly behind him for his all his streams, but it becomes kinda ridiculous at that point you might as well start saying you had aliens visiting you, to everyone you would look the same whether it is about Hikaru cheating or Aliens it's not really something believable.

I will say this. Over the past few years, Hikaru seems to have hit a "second prime" and has been climbing the rankings in classical chess again, let alone all formats of competitive chess. To some top players like Kramnik, who mostly only had a single prime, it may seem very strange and even suspicious. However, if you notice, this "second prime" actually coincides with Hikaru's online streaming career booming over the past few years. It is my conclusion that, in order not to disappoint his growing audience and his main source of income, Hikaru has subconsciously been pushing himself to the best of his ability, which is making him attain levels close to that of his "first prime" when he was the Number 2 player in the world.
@donsolos9 ай бұрын
Could be many things. His streaming income must take a lot of stress off his life and the necessity to perform well at tournaments for income. He is likely happier/more fulfilled now than he has ever been. His spot in chess has been solidified regardless of his performances because everybody seems to like hikaru

In reflecting upon the controversy surrounding Hikaru Nakamura and the allegations of online chess misconduct, I am drawn to the complexities of human perception and competition. In my younger years, when engaged in video games, the sting of defeat often led to the suspicion that my opponents were utilizing some form of subterfuge or secret knowledge. Translating this to Nakamura's scenario, it's conceivable that his extraordinary prowess is often mistaken for cheating. Yet, this is not subversion of the rules but rather an exemplification of mastery. What we're witnessing in Nakamura's case is the result of a lifelong commitment to excellence in his craft, a journey that has equipped him with an arsenal of strategies and insights. This situation underscores a broader theme in competitive endeavors, whether in sports, arts, or intellectual pursuits. There are individuals whose level of skill and dedication elevates them to a plane that appears almost superhuman. This phenomenon challenges our understanding of the limits of human capability and often brings with it a sense of awe and, at times, incredulity. It is a reminder of the extraordinary potential that lies within the pursuit of any discipline with depth, commitment, and passion.
