@@kieranb7747 you should educate yourself first buddy, not just in English... Thanks Magnus! I remember learning to play chess in the mid 90s at age 16, and because internet chess wasn't around yet, and having no access to good players, I read a few books, played for about two years, got to around 1400 strength and quit the game at 18, and did not play for 22 years after that. Im now 42 and because of all this amazing content from Magnus and other top players, the passion for the game is back and my level as made a great leap forward (2000ish blitz) in only one year of playing online and studying off youtube channels mostly. Some of us might wonder why, when down a piece and a pawn and having 0:17 on the clock vs. Magnus' 1:30, a 1950 player continues to try to push pieces around the board against the greatest player on the planet. Magnus doesn't. He says of his opponent at 23:48, 'He's fighting extremely well' and continues to provide commentary on the position. Magnus *admires* the guy for trying to fight! That's an eye-opener for me, given my occasional frustration on Lichess when an opponent is down two pieces and two pawns and continues trying to get a cheap one.

Beautiful. What I like about Magnus is his not so traditional style in the open. It feels abstract and I guess that is why he is good. He does not tie himself down by chess-dogma. His game is always the middle-game or end-game. -- I started taking chess seriously because of his style; abstract and general!

hi friede that’s a bit of an agressive comment. Some people are genetically predisposed to having gambling issues, it’s really quite easy to argue that it’s unethical. Even for those who don’t, it’s somewhat immoral. It leads to income inequality by promising hope to the working class when in reality they’re just losing money, but they occasional highs overcome it. Maybe you would argue that it’s their responsibility, but people are born into these communities where this in the norm. Some people like to say taxation is theft, and if it is, then gambling companies are most certainly much more vicious thieves.
