one thing to note about early queen attacks are its position and your pieces position. yeah the queen looks scary, but always remember the queen cant mate by itself. it always needs at least one piece to deliver a mate. you gotta check all the squares on which the queen can attack you and defend properly. while you're driving the queen away (because enemy is looking for potential mate) you found yourself developing pieces more and they just keep on moving the same piece again and again achieving nothing.

I like how people think they know more than masters lol. That's not a great move because white plays Qd2 and you lose a lot of your attack. Bg4 is absolutely brutal. If Ke1, black plays Nxc2++ (mate). If Kd2, then black plays Nf5+, with the discovery now, white can't block with the queen. If white blocks the check with f3, Nf3, Ne2, or Bd2, then black captures with the knight and has a discovered attack with the queen, all of which are way more devastating

So, I started the game. I brought my queen out early, captured an unprotected pawn, but managed to get it hung-up on B7. I resisted thoughts that I had blundered and managed to develop a really strong middle attack with my other pieces directed at her un-castled king. Obsessed with freeing my queen, I suddenly realized the only safe move I had for it was to E7: checkmate. Completely unplanned. To the explosion of laughter from those watching, I realized instead of a win it was an escape (which I said to her), and I never wanted to play her again.

Useful video for a chess newbie like me. Thank you, but I didn’t understand much, I don’t understand English well

7:01 you missed a really good move that wins the queen nf5+

Discovered attacks like that are good to seek out but with that move the queen could retreat to d2 covering the check and negating the threat of the knight capturing it

In 7:02 in your video, Nf5 is a good move because it is a check from the queen and the knight is attacking the queen!

One thing I’ve noticed is that generally unless you’ve played a bunch of bad moves, you should be safe from an early Queen with no other pieces developed by de facto

At 7:02 in my opinion the bishop check is a miss because there is knight to f5 because it is a discovered check and it is attacking the queen. There is queen to c2 which offers a queen trade so we instead move the bishop before the discovered check to b4 or make the knight take the e pawn and if they don't move their queen know we move the d knight to f5

What I typically do is pawn d6 after the queen comes out, then queen E7 in front of the king when the bishop comes out, then pretty much no matter what knight F6 will be available to drive out the queen, and much of the board is occupied with the queen and bishops long diagonals

7:03 you can play Nf6! It puts a discovered check on their king while attacking the queen at the same time

At the 7:00 time point, knight to f5 wins the queen.
