"A Series of questionable moves" The title of my auto-biography.
@gtaverse6333Ай бұрын
These 2 hour videos with 2000 rated players are my favourite. I am 1000 rated but it helps me learn a lot.
@TheRauck7Ай бұрын
Its a real challenge when all of your opponents can read your thoughts by watching your live streams while playing you
@TheRauck7Ай бұрын
alright. just heard about your livestream delay. good call
@PearFinchАй бұрын
I see people saying that you need to swap to a different time format. I think it’s actually cooler to stick with the 10 minute games because it really helps you learn to identify stuff faster and hones your instinct.

1:17:51 You could sack the queen with a check on h1 and then take a pawn with a royal fork on f2 and have the option to take his dark square bishop after you take his queen

Good Buddy 🔥👍❤️
@muzammilkhalid3890Ай бұрын
No when you are attacking don't trade queen
@philipgligorov5848Ай бұрын
@muzammilkhalid3890 Yeah but he lost that game. This queen trade would leave your opponent with double isolated pawns and "fork" the bishop and the rook, making sure you trade the knight for the dark square bishop, giving you lead in the endgame. So almost certain win if you don't blunder.

That second game against Freemason Waa diabolical. Intelligent display old chap

I think Nelson is so used to playing bad players in his ELO climb that time management is less inportant. You cannot leave yourself with 1 minute vs their 3 or 4 against 2300+.

Why doesnt anyone respond to the halloween gambit properly? After Bc4 the correct continuation is either d5 or c6.

1:40:01 Ne6+ and he has to give up the queen immediately otherwise Kg8 is forced and followed by Qg7# I believe

These games are way more exciting than the 10 world championships. Many many thanks for your great commentary... My favorite... something smells fishy here. A premonition before you blundered your rook.

The live commentary works on ratings climbs ala PeterPatzer and AverageJoe, but it's really a hindrance at this level. Why not just play live and comment after the game, then add in-game commentary as a video later? You're my absolute favorite chess channel but you get yourself in time trouble damn near every game.
@TheRauck7Ай бұрын
live commentary. but just record and post later
@RoundElephantАй бұрын
Maybe he can just change to 15|10?
@martinholms7945Ай бұрын
I disagree. Live commentary is so much more interesting and relaxing for me. Commenting after a match is like watching 5 minute football recaps. Its not the same feeling

Because he's streaming. And it's probably a good portion of his income. So people watching live will like commentary, I'm pretty sure he cares more about keeping the audience engage than rating

You are losing because you are losing time to explain us what you are doing. Just play as you like
@SmoltessАй бұрын
He's like a chess coach, the best thing about his games is his explanation and thought process, if he'd play like sitting there and just rambling moves by himself, there would be no difference between him and other chess streamers out there. Sorry for my bad English
@human_hopeАй бұрын
That's literally his main thing, if he stops explaining then it won't be fun or engaging
@ColeyLoxАй бұрын
No way! He is amazing because he explains his thought process. Just watching someone play chess is boring. But hearing how he thinks out each move brings the excitement, especially the validation when you were thinking of the exact same move/lines lol.
@black_widoww-m9p28 күн бұрын
Him explaining is literally the reason why we are here , we want to learn not to watch him win the wins don’t matter what matters is us learning his thought process
@MielenvapausАй бұрын
I like your videos but you are so slow. Please, PUSH! Your opponent has time to think about their move so well during your turn.
