@@MrBobbyramonehave you heard Cross Off by Chester and Mike Morton? It was recorded right before his death, while his stamina waned in his later years (as is natural for all singers) he was still able to pull off some of the most intense dirty yet cleanly pitched vocals out of anyone in the last 30 years if not ever. His voice was truly one of a kind.

@@MaddSpazz2000 I don't doubt it. I was just being a shithead making a joke about him literally losing his voice because he died. He's got some serious Die Hard fans, and just because I'm not one of them, that doesn't mean he doesn't have talent. I'm a firm believer in like what you like, I was just being a troll and making a joke. Have a good weekend man

I don't know if it's just me, but he already seemed tired. It's like he tried to keep it cool outside but he was really battling those inner demons and i can say it easily because he was keep moving and i don't think it was just because he tried to discharge the energy coming with the singing. Not blaming the guy singing by the piano because he was also focused on the notes or anybody that was with him that day. It obviously didn't had to end like that but there is almost no chance in convincing someone struggling with suicidal thoughts that has already made the decision. The more i look at Chester the more i realize there was no expression- he just singed, he just moved- and in my eyes it was something like- ''Fuck, let's do it but im not happy and i don't really wanna be here anymore''

Chester bled out his heart & soul, giving every ounce of pain that he suffered in his preteen & teen years. He was tortured & suffered horrifically. He gave us the pain so many could relate to. Finally in one bad moment he lost his fight. I love him, honor him & don’t blame him. It hurts that he’s gone. I also know that exact pain. I’m thankful that one bad moment hasn’t happened to me. #MakeChesterProud Thank you Chester for loving us as much as we will always love you.

@@mathewmaccenzie5006 this comment is the epitome of stupidity. All of these full retard Linkin Park fans pretending like the band belonged to Chester when in fact, Mike Shinoda is the one who formed Linkin Park, it was HIS band. Chester saw an ad for a vocalist to compliment Mike's rapping, and that's how they connected. Mike not only tolerated but embraced and helped build Chester into one of the biggest musician vocalists on the planet despite Chester being incredibly hard to deal with OFTEN due to his addiction and the accompanying problems/behaviors/anger/aggression that often pair with addiction, yet Mike never got angry with him or anything. Then Chester, and I'm sorry if this sounds brutal but Chester makes the decision to take his own life, an incredibly self centered decision - I am aware he was suffering, I am aware he was struggling, but I'm sorry, people don't "die by suicide", it's not cancer, people COMMIT suicide, and all of these idiot fans think that after almost a decade Mike doesn't have the right to continue his musical career with HIS band, no he is supposed to never enjoy that life again because of something someone else did. Get a fuckin' grip you immature high school level assholes. Mike deserves to continue writing music with his band.

@@py16667 I appreciate your wisdom. However, in a broad sense Chester was ushered down the dark path. Whether by well meaning friend, careless financial sharks or the fan base. He publicly screamed for help, literally. His choices were his, but his circle failed him nonetheless.

@@tscott6843 I saw an interview where he said that they saved him. I think he was probably happy, and the suicide was from the relapse probably because it was Chris Cornell's birthday. I think he did cuz he was caught in the moment, because everything else we know shows that he was happy

Im a songwriter but im not the best musician but i really feel the strain of always wanting to do something to help people. It is alot for one person especially when they cant even help themselves sometimes. Depression and addiction are usually one in the same. They both make the other worse and its do hard to escape. Youve got to get clean and sober or you will end up like him.

It's not about depression that healthy man has. It's about depression caused by some hidden mental illness. Don't blame anyone because it's no one fault. It's just happened in the moment when no one expected it, even Chester.
