You can't just tell them 'drugs are bad' without explaining why, it will make them want to do it even more as an act of rebellion. 3. Many kids are exposed to addiction in a young through family members, neighbors, etc. You can't make them not know about it, so at least teach them how to deal with it. 4. @@kanyeeast7784 have you ever had depression? Judging by your comment, I assume you never suffered from it. Tbh, I hope you never understand what it's like, because it's a horrible disease. Depression twists your world in your mind. It makes you think you're constantly letting everybody down, that everybody hates you. It either makes you completely forget about your loved ones, believe they don't really love you, or think that they would be better off without you. I don't know which one applies to Chester- or maybe all of them did- but whatever the case, he did not mean to hurt anyone. Not us, not his family, not his friends and not Mike. He was sick, and depression killed him. He was not a coward for dying. He was strong for surviving for as long as he had. Knowing the type of person Chester was, full of love, he would want ALL lives to be appreciated, mourned, and celebrated. Michael's death may not have affected you, but it affected many others. The same goes for Chester, some cared and some didn't. People don't dive into depression and addiction for trivial reasons, so if you are gonna show support, show it for ALL lives experiencing these phenomena, not singling one out for your own reasons. I'm not saying you have to cry for the ones you don't care about personally but show some respect and tact.
