The Corvette represents America, and in America we wear whatever we feel like, because we have the choice. That's what makes this car even more awesome. I love everything the Vette stands for. Amazing building process.

for all the people bitching about the workers and there professional pride all i have to say is that their pride is in what they build and if you look at the new corvette you will see they have ALOT! of pride!!

All the people bitching about the 'Vette being built to a lower quality than a 911. Yeah, of course it is, but building more than half the car by hand costs a lot more. That's the bottom line. If you have enough money you can get the 911 and enjoy that quality, but the C7 is still built well.
@WesSites9 жыл бұрын
Oh my god... someone understands!!!!! All of these people saying that the Corvette is the same quality as a 911 are idiots, and so are all of the people saying the new Corvette is crap!!! Kudos sir.
@EETechs8 жыл бұрын
They are basing their assumptions on "image perspective". You have to look a certain way for a car to magically become high quality...
@darinayers742510 ай бұрын
I have a 911 turbo and a C5 Vette all out race car with a 2019 LS3 Circle track engine, stripped, caged, etc. Funny at the track I see the Porsche guys look down their noses at me and others in Vettes. When they see me in their mirrors it’s a different story. Lol. I don’t bother to tell them I have a 911 turbo at home….(just not me to play that game) Bottom line is……for the money the Z06 is the absolute hands down best performance buy on the market. Maybe it’s not quite a GT3….but it’s damn near 1/2 the price. And that my friends…..is value.
@thorandmoljnir10 жыл бұрын
Wow, after reading some of the comments I'm disgusted. You guys are bashing Americans for working at their job? I don't get it. Also, the people posting about the Porsche factory and McClaren factory etc. being so much better, don't forget, those aren't mass produced cars that cost $60000 to buy. The Corvette is still an amazing car, despite its price point. The fact that people are even comparing it to cars like Ferrari and McClaren shows that the 'vette is fighting so high above its weight class it's ridiculous At the end of the day it's an affordable high performance sports car, not a world beater. (I'm not American, by the way)

The Corvette is the best sports car in the world. More reliable and affordable than anything the Europeans make, with performance to match or beat their best. A Corvette can be driven as a daily driver and run for years and years with no problems as long as you change the oil and keep gas in it. If you own a European car, you better have a LOT of money and know a good mechanic because he will have the car more than you will.

You need to see the vette in person to really appreciate it. The curves in the hood and the tail lights look different in person than on a video or in person. The tail lights don't look like the Camaro's and the hood has a late 60s early 70s feel too. Inside is great. Goto the local dealer and just take a look.

I just love how when you watch a video of a VW production line, they are all in bleach white VW branded uniforms, and they look happy, and they care, but on the assembly line for GM's flagship, ain't nobody give any fucks about no thing- especially not the car.
@unluckynumbersleven10 жыл бұрын
One, I would never work for GM, let alone build their cars. I don't hate the world enough to curse them with more. Two, seen many videos and visited factories. So, I'm not talking out of my ass, I know my shit. I also know the quality of work and the products from both of these companies first hand. Most glaring example is my dad's CTS Coupe and my Stepmom's S5. While there is a slight price difference (about $15K in their specific cars, the base models are very similarly priced, and at that, quality doesn't go up as price does within a model.) The Audi easily outshines the Cadillac in every single aspect, especially that of quality. I won't bore you with all that's wrong with the Cadillac, but I'll let you know that the Audi has never had a single problem. Ever. I have had plenty of real life experience with both brands and have my whole life. I DO know firsthand of their quality AND the quality of their build/how they were built as I said earlier. So no, I am not talking out of my ass, I'm talking out of my brain, though I realize this may be a novel concept for you as yours must be one and the same.
@unluckynumbersleven10 жыл бұрын
You're one to talk of biases, you've gone down this page and commented on any comment that shit talks the Corvette. (I've been getting notifications from you left and right) I'm not brand biased, I'm biased by factors that matter, i.e., quality, soul, intelligent design, vision, thoughtfulness, materials, product and build. I'm only bashing American shit that sucks. You see, I am an American. I love America. We're an incredible country, we've been to the moon and back, we're easily the best nation on the planet, we've pioneered nearly every field out there, we are incredible, but we make awful fucking cars. I don't need to be a quality control expert to know when a car isn't built properly. My dad's Cadillac's transmission exploded at 600 moles, resulting in a nationwide recall. The wheels, which are clearly too big, rub starting from about 75% lock (yeah, they're the factory wheels), the shifter came off when the car was two days old, and nearly everything you touch is hard plastic. The workers truly don't care about what they make, and why should they? VW/Audi does tend to have quality issues especially because they are expanding. And guess what? They. Fix. Them. How's GM's lawsuit going? VW doesn't hide their faults, they do something about them. To sum up, America is a fantastic country, and we do great things when we think- GM doesn't think (or care), VAG does. Simple as that. How's Bob Lutz's ass taste?
@unluckynumbersleven10 жыл бұрын
Also, Detroit is the worst city in this country, so I wouldn't keep bragging about that.
