Chevrolet Traverse - CABIN AIR FILTER REPLACEMENT / REMOVAL (2009 - 2017)

Step-by-step guide on how to remove / replace / change cabin air filter (pollen filter / dust filter) on Chevy Traverse SUV ( 2009 | 2010 | 2011 | 2012 | 2013 | 2014 | 2015 | 2016 | 2017 | LS | LT | LTZ | 3.6 | AWD).
It is important to regularly change cabin air filter as it directly affects the quality of air you are breathing while driving in the vehicle. Also not changing the filter will greatly affect the performance of HVAC (heating and cooling).
Cabin air filter on Chevy Traverse is located behind the glove box. Open the glove box and remove couple of plastic holders like shown in the video. Then lower the glove box all the way down. To remove the filter cassette unclip it by pushing on four black clips and pull it out. Replace the air filter and insert cassette back in. Pay attention to arrow on the new filter. It is air flow arrow and it has to point up.
