Chevy Bolt Steering Clunk FIXED

I was ready to drop the entire subframe to remove the steering rack when someone in my Bolt facebook group suggested this. Tightened a bolt up on the steering coupler / u-joint and that saved me from needlessly replacing tie rod ends and steering rack and pinions. This fixed a common “clunking” or rattling noise in the front end.

Glad it helped! I was ready to start lowering the subframe and pull the rack when someone suggested to check this first!

Does this also fix the steering wheel not centering issue or is it separate? Good info, will keep it in mind if I hear the clunking.
