How does it ride ? My 04 denali has blown shocks and it's really bouncy

I put these on my buddy yukon and seems to like them pretty much has oem ride. He didn't want anything to stiff or soft and these seem to be right in the middle.

I used bilstein 5100, 2 inch leveling lift and honestly, 150k mile oem shocks felt the same

2001 Yukon Denali xl here. I have the air ride system can I just put new shocks on it?

Jack, tried to contact you to ask this question, but couldn’t figure out how to do so. Commenting here and hoping you might be able to help answer this question. Just had the shocks replaced on my 2017 Yukon on a Friday at the dealership (along with a 50K mile checkup). The following Sunday, I drove out to the desert and as soon as I left the pavement on a gravel road, the vehicle started to jerk and swerve. Long story short, I realized that the driver’s side front tie rod outer connection had come undone. Any chance the dealership undid the tie rod 0:02 to get more room replacing the shocks and forgot to screw the nut back onto the bolt that secured it?

I guess it’s a possibility but you should have the strut spring combo correct? And if I remember right you shouldn’t have to separate the tie rod from the steering knuckle there should be plenty of room to pull it out from underneath the vehicle between the control arms. Was the nut totally missing from the tie rod end? Or was it just separated from the steering knuckle? Does the passenger side nut look it was freshly loosened?

@@BLUECOLLARGARAGE haven’t looked at the others, but the nut was completely gone and the bolt was not stripped.

@@patrickkeefe3672 yeah that seems suspicious especially since the threads weren’t stripped I wonder if they pulled it and just totally forgot to put the nut back on. Did they perform and alignment afterwards because the alignment tech should have noticed as well if it was missing.
