My 2000 Yukon XL , SLE Front Stop Pads are Crumbled Down to Little Stubs... I Panicked- Trying to Find Out How to Replace this Crucial Suspension Part. And You Nailed It...!! I will Order the New " Bump Stop Pads Today...!! The 2- Front Sway Bar Bushings were Rotted also...But I Replaced the Left/Right 6" Bolt Kits...and What a Difference in the Firmness Of the Ride...only Cost $25. Just replaced the Front Ceramic Disc Pads in Time Also...before Going Metal to Metal...a Real Cost -Saver. 12-24-21 BillinL.A.

To me when i get it in, i bring a long screw driver and use it as a long bar, rest the screw driver on the diff/frame and push on the bump stop to force it in even more

If 1 bad on the driver side would or could it make turning right harder mine on drivers side looks bent in half ….. it’s easy to steer left but hard to steer right we’ve replaced the power steering pump all axels look good

Wen vehicle on the ground, my front bump stops touch the bottom part. Is that how it shud be? Or shud there be a space in between? Urs had a space but it looked like ur truck was jacked up.....

That most likely means your shocks are completely blown, my vehicle is not on a lift or jacked up all you need to do is slide underneath and swap them out

So i have a yukon denali and a lot of every speed table it feels like it clangs metal to metal or bottoming out, will new ones help with that impact absorbtion? I did new shocks and tires and upper control arms this year.

If you hear it while bottoming out yes this will help, but the noise could be due to the tires rubbing

Being 3 years old. You probably figured it out or got rid of it. But the Yukon shouldn’t bottom out. You need better shocks or turn up the torsion bars a little. That will give it more travel. It’s not good for it to bang on the bump stops all the time
