Bravo, cheers, and huzzah for your explanation of referring to Aslan as a person. That's the way it has been and always should be. A boat or ship that takes good care of you while you are taking care of her deserves nothing else. Treat her like an "inanimate object" and she'll quit on you when you need her most. That's from a career sailor. Welcome to the brethren CHG!

It is quite like a shepherds pie i guess. Looks so good. Not a ton of difficult prep, pretty fast in execution, and good, simple, comfort food on a chilly day. No rules to it, throw in anything you like, lots of variations as you say. Perfect as all your cooking spots are. 11:30 am here in Vegas, i am going to rummage around the pantry and freezer's here shortly. I have potatoes, carrots, onions, no turkey burger or mince as you brit's call it, but i have some hamburger or beef mince i guess, no oxocubes, but i have some beef boullion in powder form, and it's only warmed up to 50F here today. I have similar weather and all the fixin's. Guess what i am conjuring for dinner tonight? Thanks for that inspiration Kevin!😀
