Bowman had dropped the window net and had lifted his visor and was wiping his eyes when this happened. When Bowman's car was hit in the door, he was sent into the wall on the driver's side and the right side wheels came off the ground. More than just a llitle tap.

It doesn’t matter who you are or what happened to you during the race. You NEVER intentionally cause contact after you have crossed the checkered flag. Drivers should be banned for this including the stunt Daniel Suàrez pulled at COTA post race pit lane. People can get hurt when the track is no longer hot and there are nascar officials and crew members walking on pit road. If anyone purposely caused damage at a lower racing class event such as a simple HPDE track day, you would be banned for life.

NASCAR needs to look at Bubba holistically and not look at this incident as it happened. Bubby has anger issues and he acts out on multiple times. Think 160mph hooking Larson into the fence, backyard bully stuff, and on and on. You think his team would deal with it and I”m surprised that Jordan wants his brand associated with it. Who will or when will someone get hurt when Bubba loses his Sh$t next time and there will be a next time. They parked him for a race with Larson, maybe they need to park him for the rest of the season and help him deal with whatever his issues are. Perhaps you can take another look at the video of the "gentle bump" from BW. While he did not spin AB out, BW hit him with a lot more force than the "love tap" you describe, chief. I think they need to sit BW down to miss a race.

I give credit to Bowman for trying to reach out during the rain delay. That looked nasty with all the water flying and it would be a miracle if something didn’t happen. Bubba needs to control his emotions. Hitting someone after a race someone can really get hurt

I don't think Bubba deserves a penalty. It wasn't on pit road. Bowman wasn't phased by it. Not like he did a spin out hit on him. I have heard Bowman apologize 3 times for hitting Bubba. I think it's a nothing burger.

Bowman's window net was down and arm out of window.....safety issues! He definitely needs a penalty.

Bowman could’ve had his arm out the window waving to the fans when this happened and got it crushed against the wall. There can be no room for intentional crashing after the checkered flag. NASCAR needs to adopt a zero tolerance policy on it and levy heavy penalties for offenders.

Bubba had a perfect opportunity to be cool and still rub up and leave a his mark on his friend the 48. Bubba finished 13th which is outstanding for anyone on a road course. This was a great finish for the 23 team. Instead of having some fun with the 48 after a huge win Wallace decides to go Will Smith on his team and literally destroy a really good end to a difficult race. Less would be more for the Bubba.
