Chicago, IL Buried Under Eighteen Inch Snowfall - 2/16/2021

With the assistance of Lake Michigan enhancing snowfall during a winter storm, Chicago and Evanston, Illinois received up to 18.6 inches of snowfall in under 24 hours. This video documents the scenes from the area this afternoon.

My late wife always said about living out west.... "You don't have to shovel sunshine!"... :) Personally, I MISS big, deep snow. I was raised in Michigan and went to my first year in college up in Marquette on Lake Superior. Got some SERIOUS snow up there! At one point, almost 10 feet deep! Ha! Good times. :)

I used to live in Chicago ... really loved it ... except for the fact it has only two seasons ... WINTER - cold, wet, SNOW (which doesn't melt til July) .... and SUMMER - hot, wet, miserable humidity
