When I was first in my friend group to have a baby, I lost a lot of friends that didn't understand Parenthood. It is so nice seeing you keep your friendship special.

It's hard the other way too. I was the only one who didn't have kids, so the priority for my friends was to do things with other parents. It takes understanding and love on both sides to keep friendship going as lives change.

I know your life is completely different. Makes it hard, unless they reach out to you too, to know where you fit into their life now.

That’s really sad! I think it just takes more understanding and coordination on both sides and both people have to be willing to do so! I think getting to hang out with your closest friends kids is so cool, and I personally don’t want my own kids right now so it’s the best of both worlds! 🖤

I used to work at Philz! Way back when, when they were only in the Bay Area. I was a manager and trained new employees, and the mint mojito was by far the #1 ordered drink (especially in the summer), and I loved making new employee “practice” making them so I could “taste test them for quality control” 😂

As a life-long Chicagoan, which I'm reaching my half century mark, it is so cool to see my City through someone elses lens. My family immigrated here from Sweden in the early 1920's and Andersonville was where they planted their roots. Swedes from Sweden landed in the Swedish neighborhood of Chicago, what a coincidence..right? Anyway, we lived on Lakewood and thats where my journey into this World began. My very first steps were in Andersonville! I have some of the best memories with my Gram, we would walk to Treasure Island(which was once our neighborhood grocery store), shopped local spice stores, butchers and bakeries. The best was "The Swedish Bakery" and "Dinkels". Also, my family is very politically connected and I remember spending many days at Foster Beach with then Mayor Byrne.. She was a family friend. My great grandparents bought their home on Lakewood for just a few thousand dollars and now it's upwards of $1.5M...ugh, if only my Gram would've kept that home. Its okay though, I've got memories that will last a lifetime 😊🇸🇪🇺🇸

Put your socks in a laundry bag!!! Ever since I started doing that, I’ve never lost a sock and grabbing them is so easy! I just stuff them in with my bras, and then remove my bras from the bag before throwing it in the dryer.

This morning I was sitting here watching your video, and I realized that you are probably the only person that I watch vlogs of…. And I wondered why and then I realized it’s because you’ve overcome so many health issues. I know that you’re still working through them and that they are chronic issues but I see how well you’re doing right now. I got diagnosed with breast cancer in November 2021 and I think that I now have a new appreciation for living life to the fullest and I love watching you live your life to the fullest.
