Poles didn't get carried away. He did a great job in the offseason. Fans forget we had limited draft capital to work with. He made moves given the pieces he had to work with. Outside of keeping Eberflus, he's done a great job overall. I'm under the assumption that he still took this year as a rebuild. The media is who hyped the Bears up. Any fan paying attention should have know this was still a rebuild year. Going into next year we'll have the most cap space we've had in a long time, as well as draft capital.

The Bears are lucky to be where they're at. If it wasn't for Ryan Poles, the Bears weren't able to pick up Caleb Williams. Ryan Poles did what most GM couldn't do in a short amount of time, and "he's not even done with the team yet". Once he fixed the O-line, a lot of the issues will be solved.

As a bears fan I’m just tired of the constant reset. I want something that reminds me of the bears football from my youth(85 I was 10yr). Letting lovie Smith go was a bad decision. The bears have way too much talent to only have 4 wins this season. Letting J. Field go a year too early is also another horrible move as well. I’m always going to be a 🐻 fan but the lack of an identity is absurd and bad coaching over the last 15 years is just silly.

Kevin Warren should not be announcing this news. He is because he’s “in charge”. But…he hasn’t produced anything for the organization yet (I.e. any progress on the stadium). Poles, with faults, has done a ton of good things for the bears like getting the Heisman winning QB. The fact Warren is treating poles like this is beyond disrespectful. Great job McCaskeys, you’ve created a hostile work environment. This is why Poles has this very off vibe. Poles is not reporting to owners, but a guy that hasn’t produced anything yet for the organization. Imagine being poles and having to run ideas past George and Kevin Warren. Dear god… I Hate being a Bears fan. It’s obvious the McCaskeys have no idea on how to build a winning culture.
