Regarding the latency thing, PC players have a habit of reacting faster due to the mouse being fast by default. But having played the game too, with a steam controller it compensates surprisingly well. Believe me try it as it is free and good fun.

Well, mouse and keyboard are objectively faster and more accurate than a controller, but I don't think latency should be an issue (even thought m+k also have less latency) check your tv settings to see if it has any "game mode" that could help with any latency on console

Personally I find the mouse optimal for shooters but the keyboard is worse for movement and driving compared to a controller. I need a way to have a analogue stick for movement and a mouse for aiming and for it to be comfortable all at the same time.

@@bonk4861 i've been stuck on consoles for like 5 years before getting the money to get back into PC, I personally never found use for the analog sticks and pressure sensitive triggers, maybe for like driving slowly and roleplaying on GTA 5, but when i was playing serious I was giving my car full throttle or full braking all the time and never actually making use of the analog steering, the only exception for this was sim racing games, but for that it's better to just buy a steering wheel, that is 100% better in every way to a controller, as for character movement i simply hated it, every time I wanted to do a precise jump and the game didn't have a deadzone for going forwards I would push the joystick just enough to the side to miss my jump, it felt floaty too, in every, single, game, i somehow feel really safe with my inputs in a keyboard, I can feel exactly what my character is doing, and the 8 direction limitation is really not something that ever bothered me

​@@brunogamesbr1 yeah everyone has their own preferences, I just need a happy medium to really be in my comfort zone. Also if it matters I've been playing console and pc everyday for the last 15 years. I find it also depends on the game or genre of game for what I would prefer to use with it. Obviously not gonna go play many MMO's with a controller. I have a steering wheel for games like Euro Truck Sim but not enough room to really enjoy it and a HOTAS for flight sim games like Elite Dangerous. I just think the optimal controller would incorporate keyboard, mouse and controller all in one whilst also being as I said before comfortable. I have tried using all three at the same time before and it was not fun.

i wonder if werfer is related to verve, since werfer, from what i can tell, means thrower, and verve means a state of having a lot of energy; do Germans use words like werfer independent of others? for example i know in the title of the video the word is flammenwerfer, flame thrower, but do you ever say just werfer? also incidentally my brother-in-law is German and his given name is Erwin, which we were told by my sister (his wife, my side of the family is American) is pronounced Airvin

The "v" pronunciation of w is a later development in German and shared roots containing w's never really relate to English words containing v, at least before going further back to proto-indoeuropean. Most of these words have non-germanic Latin and French sources. More particularly, werfen relates to the English warp.

@@CorvusCorone68 You are kind of right. For example: Ich werfe einen Ball = I throw a ball "Werfer" as a word itself is normaly not used alone. For example Riotcontrol Unit have whats called a "Wasserwerfer". Basically a big truck that shoots water at things and people if the situation gets out of control. Maybe you could use Werfer to describe the player throwing the Ball in Baseball (Pitcher). But other than that i can't think of another example. Regards from Germany :D

Mentioning the PIAT reminds me of the Jeremy Clarkson documentary film "The Victoria Cross: For Valour". Well worth your time imo. The BREN gun was more effective than the BAR. Same principle, firing the standard rifle bullet (British .303 in this case), but lighter and more reliable, with lower recoil. In both cases they could be as accurate as a rifle in single-fire mode, but the BREN had a 30 round top feeding magazine instead of a 20 round magazine, so it required reloading less often, and it came with a folding bipod for steady aim from a defensive position.

For the latency thing it is most likely due to your fps where ps4 can only do 60 fps were even a lower quality PC can usually do 120 fps or higher

I swapped from console to PC and have never looked back BUT I can't straight up call it superior- it's undoubtable there are advantages to consoles, especially accessability (lower price to start and many fewer technical issues). Regarding reaction time, PC I assume is much faster since the mouse doesn't have a max speed..

Also, when aiming on PC, you move the mouse to your target. On console, you move the stick in the direction you want to move your camera in. Then, you stop moving it. That also proves why PC is more precise.

Tin can mics in this one. On PC aiming is done with the mouse which goes as fast and as far and as exact as you can go with a full arm. Consol limits your control to a single thumb and tries to compensate with built in aim assist. There's a reason why esports are either entirely PC controls or entirely consol controls regardless of what the system used will accept inputs from.

I think its not latency thats different between controllers and mouse and keyboards. Mouse and keyboard are just objectively faster control devices that can handle varying amounts of input compared to a controller that can't just move your crosshairs in 4 different speeds interchangeably.

As having both And X-Box 1 (for family use), a PS4 Pro (for friends) and a gaming PC (for myself), I can confidently say that PC is more superior. though it has its own requirements for improving gameplay, not like consoles, as long as you have the budget to improve your PC's overall performance, it can be more superior to consoles.
