Bit of a stretch to say that since it only repurposes various guns and the empire effectively being modeled after the nazis. It would be far more accurate to say that Star Wars takes its influence from WW2, Fuedal Japanese Samurai, and a bit of buddhism.

The character of Phasma was made to sell a book (good book, shows her ruthlessness). They sadly removed a deleted scene in last Jedi that Really REALLY showed her character, when fin reveals to a bunch a troopers that it was her who lowered the shields when threatened. Her reaction? Purge the ranks with a heavy pistol, till fin took that time to close the gap and finish her off.

General grievous was introduced in the [2003 clone wars] mini serie and was freakin' awesome and cool, he was not a villain, he was a horror movie monster that could fought five jedis at once and win, they had to bring a gunship just to even the fight. If you have never seen it, you should watch it. It is only two hours long with volume one and two.

I mean, idk how "hot" this take is but I just feel like the movies are in general the most meh part of the franchise, mostly cuz the most interesting stuff happens before/after/during every movie but always out of sight since there's some stuff you really can't do justice in live action and I will die on this hill just by comparing original/prequel/sequel trilogy saber duels vs every other piece of content with a duel, example Krell vs Clones.

I know I'm 7 months late to this but i agree. although i can watch episode 1 to 7 all the way and still like it (i won't mention the other two) the comics, most of the games, the shows.(especially clone wars god i was happy when they brought that back) but what i enjoy about star wars is the details like: the ships, lightsabers, abilities the little stuff you know.

Droids were valuable in Star Wars lore because they were easy to mass-produce for the war, they weren't really intimidating by themselves but could easily overwhelme a enemy planet that didn't have the best defensive

Fun fact it was revealed in a comic book/book that phasma made her armor herself from the metal of Emporer Palpatines Party yacht, that's right and she found it on jakku or tattooine it was a desert planet but she dragged these big pieces of metal across the desert in FULL armor so it's amazing she didn't die of you know dehydration or HEAT STROKE but yeah

ok, so you have to know that the original B1-series Battle Droids were kind of menacing before the massive war of the Clone Wars due to how they functioned before. you see: before the war, they were controlled using big space stations hovering over a planet or where ever and those made the droids smarter and less cartoony in a sense. but after the one blowing up over Naboo, they needed to step up their game. so the Separatists ditched the whole giant remote station and made actual AI for each droid which both helped with no massive weak spot that caused the droids to just die on the field, but also made them kind of dumber in some moments because they were using cheaper parts due to the demand of the war. that's when they made more advance but limited series of droids like the T-series, which were the more leader based droids who were best used at strategy, and the BX-series, which were the most advance and extremely lesser made droids that were used as assassins and guards. I personally was always a fan of the B1 models for how unique they were and i did enjoy their just "well this sucks" attitude during the Clone Wars series and any other series for that matter, seeing as they are just fodder to deal with.
