Would love to see a video on face mists! I can never tell if they are somewhere in between a toner and an essence as well! And if I need to use them in replacement of an essence or at what part of the skincare routine to use them in! Would love any advice ❤️

How do you use the isntree hyaluronic essence? On damp/wet skin? Which step of your skincare? Did it dry your skin?

Great information! Appreciate all the explanations of different products. Could you possibly explain when to use the products? AM or PM? Which order of application if 2 or more are used? What about the different strengths of Lactic Acid combined with Glycolic Acid? Thanks!!!!

Thank you so much! I appreciate the feedback. 😊 In general the order I use is Cleanser, Toner, then Essence. The essences can be used morning and night but I like to save the exfoliating toners for the evening since they increase sun sensitivity. Glycolic acid is stronger than lactic acid--I would say the Youth To the People Exfoliating Toner is stronger than the Ren AHA toner because it has a higher amount of glycolic whereas the Ren is lactic acid based 🥰

I use both but more in the way of an essence than a toner looking to gently hydrate and exfoliate so this video was very helpful. Do you ever use the kombucha toner in the morning before applying makeup? The product directions suggest nighttime use only. That’s probably best for overnight skin cell turnover but just curious

So glad it was helpful! Thanks so much! I think they suggest night time use because acids increase your skin's sensitivity to sunlight. I usually apply my acid products at night for that reason but I have sometimes used them in the morning followed by tons of sunscreen 😊

Hi love! I’m going to start the Ren toner. Should I use it both morning and night or just morning? I used a salycilic acid wash at night which I feel works for my dry acne prone skin and I don’t want anything to be too much. Also, would I still put any treatments or serums over it like hyaluronic acid? Thank you :)

You can definitely put hydrating treatments over it like hyaluronic acid. If you choose to use it in the morning just be sure to use a lot of sunscreen. You can also use in the evening but I would recommend you patch test after your cleanser just in case 💗

What do you think about a pha toner (not same routin) but any other day. i use tretionin. The brand it self says its good before vitamin A. 🧖🏻‍♀️

Is the Neogen essence a dupe to the SKII

I wouldn't say it's a dupe since it doesn't contain pitera like the skII does but it does contain lots of other fermented ingredients so its trying to do similar things to your skin 😊
