this man has been playing the same song for literaly decades but can still come up with new ways for it to sound different. unbelieveable
@hskshag002 жыл бұрын
He’s said that by his later years, he’s played this song so many times that he started to get bored with it so he looked for more and more different ways to play it. This rendition is no doubt another product of his boredom ;)

Not to take anything away from his time with Miles, Return to Forever, the Elektric Band, or his solo work, but these three guys made some of the most amazing music I've ever heard. This is - without a doubt - my favorite version of this song. R.I.P. Chick Corea.

As a fellow bassist I like how when John does a solo the rest of the band does not just stop playing and leave the bassist out there on his own flopping around. Chic and Dave play but they get out of the way and let the soloist work. I never had that kinda help.
