Chicken Chow Mein Take-Out Style | Chicken Recipe For Dinner

Today I am making stir-fried chicken chow mein easy. RECIPE LINK below! This recipe is similar to the way my local Chinese Take-Out restaurant makes it. The vegetables and sauce ingredient ratios are up to you. The noodles can be substituted with your favorite thin pasta as well. Chow mein is a staple in most Chinese restaurants and I have tried so many variations. This recipe is my recreation from one of my local spots I order take-out from. The addition of chicken makes this dish a hearty stir-fry dinner I love to make.

My late wife was from Vietnam and she made the best Chicken Chow Mein in the whole World! I think she used chicken thighs, although chicken breasts is ok also. She fried the noodles extra crispy and served them by themselves, We put the crispy noodles on our plate first, then we put the rest of the Chow Mein over the noodles. It was so delicious!!!

I've been cooking asian cuisine for 16 years in a restaurant, and I must say her technique is quite good. She was 94 and during the war she worked in a factory where she learned that heat and water make boiling water and from there her food journey snowballed. She was making toast within days.
