I teach English as a foreign language in a high school in Beijing. I recently found out that one of my classes loves recipes, and learning how to cook. So, I showed them a few of your videos, and the kids LOVE them! They like to hear English spoken by other people who had to learn it as a second language like they do, and they love the recipes. I often have to explain some of the ingredients, but the kids don't mind at all. In fact, one week, one of them actually made the eggplant parmigiana recipe! It didn't LOOK as good as on the video, but it tasted pretty darn good! Thank you, from China!

What kind of olive oil did you use? I tried a recipe, added olive oil, but while the ingredients came out nice, olive oil took over the whole taste. I figured maybe use regular butter instead.
@ZeroAbsolution3 жыл бұрын
@@DMCarReviews Hey, To me personally it sounds like you're using fairly high quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil, which has it's unique (but fairly strong) taste. If you don't like the taste of it, or rather find it too overpowering, try going for a cheaper common virgin olive oil. If that still is too much, go for light olive oil. Light olive oil is very neutral in flavour. Edit: Just using butter (or olive oil) is completely fine btw. Just make sure you adjust your heat properly so the butter doesn't burn (since olive oil has a higher smokepoint, it helps the butter not burn.)

I made this dish exactly like he said but added my tlc in terms of quantity of butter, salt and other delicious ingredients. This recipe he shows us is a fool proof way to make incredible Chicken Marcela. Just remember the cooking wine is on a different isle than the drinking wine. Don't waste 30 minutes like I did looking for it lol. Be prepared for your friends to call you a master chef, and recommend culinary school and a career in cooking if you absolutely nail it like he does in this video. Just put love and patience into it, do not rush it to impress someone. Impress yourself by the reactions you see and hear from your friends and family. Subscribed forever, keep it up and I hope you bring a friend or family member on to learn one of your recipes. Btw I have an incredible picture I would love you send you of the dish just before I served it.

Chicken Marsala is one of my long-standing favorites. The only steps different from my recipe to yours is that I add a little red pepper flake to spice it up a little and I also add prosciutto. I also serve a small bed of linguini as well. Chicken and bacon (or its Italian cousin prosciutto) are always a great flavor combination in my opinion. I also like a little heat in my dishes - hence a little red pepper flake to spice it up a bit.
