Omgosh, AMAZING footage of the Mantis. They're beautiful bugs, but even once I was scared when I saw a huge Mantis swaying back and forth. I thought for sure it was going to attack me. It was on my front door. I called the apartment manager for help, and thank God he did or I don't know what I would have done. It's good to know they won't hurt the hens. Thanks for this fun and informative video.

Wonderful and interesting! You went to a lot of work to find clips that illustrate your points, and I loved the dramatic music! I have to admit, though, that my favorite parts were when you were channeling your inner preying mantis!

Years ago I had a giant rooster, here these giant chickens are called Palunda, I was playing with a baby Puerto Rican boa (snake) that I found, curious I threw the snake at the giant Palunda chicken to see what would happen...The shock I had at what I saw still shocks me today lol...The giant chicken steps on the snake, kills the snake, and swallow the snake whole, I have never seen something that freaky in my life lol.

Hello. i feed my two road iland red hens , with huge cockroachs , at most of nights here. QUESTION1 : is it wrong to let them eat cockroaches?! QUESTION2 : how many hours takes time , for that eaten cockroach, to change into eggs? QUESTION3: does this effect on egg's taste?! QUESTION4: should we eat eggs made out of cockroaches? or let them to change into baby chickens?! 🐣🐥
@thefeatherbrain5 ай бұрын
1) It's not wrong to feed them cockroaches. Chickens love bugs. Just make sure they also have access to a balanced feed. 2) The number of eggs your chickens will lay depends on the breed. The most eggs hens can lay is almost daily (they will need to take a break once a week or so), but again, this will depend on the breed you have. 3) Eating cockroaches should not affect the taste of the egg. 4.) Either is fine. If you decide to eat the eggs, collect them quickly. Collect them once a day. If you a have a rooster, the eggs may be fertilized (you can still eat them). but if you want more chickens, let the hens brood the eggs and hatch them. If you'd rather have eggs than chicks, then simply collect the eggs once a day. Hope this answer your questions satisfactorily, Bri

we have a chicken that was born with both sexes, we hah named sunshine, but lately, we have had our feet attacked and bitten, what can we do?
@cookingsherry87842 жыл бұрын
How do you tell if they are both sexes? I have a supposed Ameraucan that has the coloring of of a male (blue wheaten) and slight tail feathers, not laying eggs yet (should be) that I know of. I posted pictures to a chicken forum, and everyone thereclaim it is a female Easter egger instead.
