Something that my mom used to do with chicken noodle soup was to take the veggies out and puree them with some of the broth, and then add it back in. Helps combat WABS and makes it more about the chicken and noodles. Edit: It also means you can completely ignore chopping them nicely since you'll be turning it into sludge anyways

Just look for a jambalaya recipe and leave out the shrimp, that's what I do, I use chicken and hot Italian sausage

i found that mixing a little cornstarch (cornstarch and water) into the soup helps a lot. don't add a lot, you are not thickening the soup. you are just adding a little so the broth spends a little more time on your tongue.

Boil noods separately and add to bowls individually to avoid soggy noods when reheated later. It also helps the noods feel more important.
