Love your production style. The cooking wasn't bad either.

So sorry you’ve had a hard week, I hope both you and Dylan enjoyed a restful, cuddly evening in the sun together - our pets give us so much unconditional love, it’s very hard when they are unwell. The dish looked delicious, and a great way of getting comfort food in the middle of summer without having to turn the oven on! Hope this is a better week for you. 🙂

Thank you so much Claire for those really kind words. Yes, our pets are such a gift and teach us so much. Some of that chicken went straight to the little pooch. I hope you are well and thank you again. 🙏

Good morning, I am planing my next campingtrip and thought about taking my Cobb to the campside. Thinking about some recipes I discovered your channel. So now I can combine two things in one: Improving my English skills, while cooking!!! That's great!!! Thank you so much for inspiration

Good morning! Thank you so much. Oh it's such a brilliant thing for camping. I'm planning on doing some more recipe videos in the Cobb this year so stay tuned- we just need this freezing cold weather to move on in the UK.

Just used my Cobb for the first time. I made prawn fried rice and I grilled steak! It was so easy and everything cooked beautifully. I knew exactly how to cook as I’ve been watched all the Cobb videos on utube. Sorry about your dog.

Nice video. Really enjoy the cob on vacation. Also use some briquettes instead of cobble stone. Cobble stones are great if you want heat fast and long. I like the curly fire starters you use. Seeing this, I might get the wok for next holiday. Thanks for the effort you put in this video.

Yes the wok is just brilliant. Really recommend as it opens up way more flexibility

Hi there i have just brought myself a cobb compact grill bbq and came across your channel which is great and well presented, i look forward to more recipes in the future, the cobb is starting to make a big change on how us anglers cook on the bank so i look forward to try it out, take care and i have subbed to your channel.👍

Fantastic- thank you Wayne! That's great to hear that the Cobb is getting a little more well known over here. I'm imagining that it's economical use of fuel and ability to cook so flexibly will be a help as it is for us when we go camping? Love to know more on how you think you might use it. I've been meaning to try smoking fish, so that's a good reminder.

Do you have a video on freezing zucchini please???....Just doing your instructions for freezing green beans. Very helpful.
@CookingandCalm3 жыл бұрын
Hi again 😊. I don't think I do - I'll put on my list. I've frozen shredded and spiralised for zucchini bread and muffins and that was fine. The method depends on what you'll be using them for - are you looking for sliced or shredded ?

@@CookingandCalm Both, I'm growing it but I can't say I've eaten it. Everyone talks about how good the bread is. And I guess sliced.....in small batches. Thanks so much....btw, green beans are in the freezer :)

Ah a new adventure. They don't have much flavour to be honest so tend to take on flavours of whatever you're cooking really well. Courgette/Zucchini bread is delicious - over here in the uk we'd call it 'cake' as it's pretty sweet . Delicious though and one think you can try is making a zuc bread then slicing it, (freeze slices separately like the green beans) then into a zip lock - will be good for about 3 months. To freeze shreds of zucch I just portion into 1/2 or whole cups then freeze and throw into muffins, breads, stews and casseroles, smoothies. For slices you'd need to blanch first or they go very mushy. - blanch 1/4 " slices for 1 minute, then ice water, good dry and open freeze like the beans b4 bagging. Use in stir fry's etc. I don't really like them plain but if you do, use as a side dish. Finally , if you run out of freezer space, consider a dehydrator one day - I'm experimenting with this more and more these days.

@@CookingandCalm OK, I'm going to have to try the zuc bread. I did not know about it not having much flavor. My squash has done poorly and that's the one I really like. I have my Mother's recipe for squash casserole and I also love it fried. Guess I'll be buying that this year. I can not thank you enough for your help. Did you do a bread video?
@CookingandCalm3 жыл бұрын
I've never done a bread video as we mainly cheat and use a breadmaker ;)

Did the briquettes go all the way, or did you have to add coles?
