For onion- I’ve heard placing it into an ice bath works after you peel it. I think it worked for me but it’s been a little while since I’ve tried it! Another thing I’ve seen is people not cutting the root off until the very last minute! I think that cutting it causes the onion to release more or whatever makes us teary!!! im definitely making this! my one onion trick is to cut them pole to pole and to run the knife through water every half onion or so. i learned somewhere cutting onions underwater helped but i find it a bit too hazardous (i cut myself once) so i found a workaround

Oooh thanks for the tips! I heard having a wet towel next to the onion also works? Since the thing that makes you cry is attracted to water.

The celery flavor wasnt that strong for me. But this is coming from someone who loves celery! Haha. You can either lessen the amount or omit it if you like. :)

It already has onions so I would say just not include the celery. The oven time would change if baked in smaller containers but Im not sure on the specifics.
