Enikidu really depends on who the target is. For a normal human like Shirou, it's just a chain, and chains can be broken. For someone with any divinity, it becomes stronger, to the point where someone with A-ranked Divinity can't ever break it. The fact that VN Berserker managed to shows just how badass Hercules is. Also, speaking of plot armor, Gilgamesh didn't even WEAR his armor. Shirou won because literally EVERY factor was in his favor.
