I have to admit that I am loving Nick more and more with each video. I just feel that he isn't giving a 5 word answer. I feel like he is answering the questions as if the camera was not on. I see a sincerity and not a show. It just feels more personal and less pageant. I instantly want to be friends with him. It just feels real.
@ahoytherekaty5 ай бұрын
My husband’s from PA and him answering questions is a lot like Nick’s. Matteo’s is SO midwestern! He’s so amicable and chatty - almost like the south more than the north.

The way Nick's voice changed when he talked to Matteos mom omg 😂 I've never heard him sound so sweet. ❤

Nick came from a town of 700?! That is surprising because Nick acts like he owns the city. While Matteo is so warm and welcoming... as if he grew up in a small town.

I love Matteo complaining about Nick not just answering the question when there’s only 2 minutes left, but wasting half of that time ranting about it 😂 their bickering dynamic is so wholesome and friendly. I want hour long podcasts of this! Also this content about the struggles of growing up as a queer kid in a heteronormative environment is extremely relatable to me and actually really helps with my own traumas and difficulties in those same environments. I love you both, please keep these coming. X

As children, my family (we were 4 siblings) lived in a very rural wooded suburban neighborhood, on a large private family estate that we shared with my aunt and uncle and 1 cousin. After school and on weekends, there were no other kids who lived close enough to visit or hang out with. So we 5 siblings/cousins plus our two sets of parents (and sometines grandparents) were our only playmates. We played lots of outdoor games with our two families all together. Cross-out softball, croquet, badminton, horse basketball, swimming. And we worked together as a family on our many yard and garden projects, or washing our 5 cars. On bad weather days, there were indoor activities, again all together in a group of 5 kids and 4 adults (and always our two big dogs, of course.) Board games, charades, exploring while cleaning up the attics, basements, and garages that constantly required tidying up. And a lot of cooking together. We also had a family orchestra as everyone in the family played a musucal instrument (my uncle was a professional musician.) Every weekend, we went, as a large family group of 9, to our lake cabin in the summer. During spring and autumn, golfing, rock-hunting, or hiking. Skiing in the winter. Museum and art gallery visits and music concerts were sprinkled in throughout. Our school "friends" were limited to classmates in the same school group activities such as sports, band, theater, student council. But we didn't socialize with any of them outside of school. I didn't have any close friendships (or date) until college.

I was in middle school (then called "junior high school") in the 1970s... by far the worst years of my school career - bullies, cliques, gossips, cruelty to anyone even slighty different. I liked high school a lot more and really came out of my shell. But I agree with so many others here that middle schoolers are the WORST and apparently have been that way since forever.
