It's very true, that we bleed on people and people have bled on us... We need to heal our pain. Thank you for advocating for mental health, it is high time as a country we prioritize on this.

Hugs to you Catherine 🫂❤️ May you find the healing your soul yearns for... In the meantime please be very gentle with yourself. Healing is not linear, It is very messy and complicated but it gets better with time 🥰 Would also recommend you listen to Dr. Thema here on KZbin her podcast on homecoming is amazing.. it unpacks trauma healing topic by topic. Sending you lots of love in this journey 💙💙

For the longest time I empowered my childhood trauma,it really dictated my life to an extent of subjecting me to carry a lot anger, bitterness, rage and resentment..I never realised how terrible it was till I hurt my daughter..I thank God I'm working on becoming better by prioritising healing..It is a journey worth taking and I thank God I'm becoming better everyday.

Forgivess is not for the aggressor but for you. Let them go so that you can heal. Very true !

This is very true. I have come to learn that you are that man or woman because you were determined to overcome certain pain in from your childhood life. There is hope for those who have found themselves at their lowest that people have lived to overcome their past pain. You can.

BEATING CHILDREN INSTILS FEAR IN THE CHILD ! don’t hit your kids. Teach them while they’re young. Don’t hit them !

I was listening the power of mental health and then we got to where it’s acceptable to bear children. Nooooooo! Your responsibility as a parent is not expressed by us beating anyone. We have also moved beyond beating wives who don’t toe the line. The mental health inflictions we cause our kids suffer from these beatings are substantial and can lead our children to the same rabbit hole down the line

This story is not flowing. I'm not hearing what her experience was, it's more of what she's learnt AFTER the trauma. Which is helpful... But
