One of the best miniseries of all time. The actors are superb or first class, (with James McAvoy leading the way). I definitely recommend this series to everyone. I give it a score of 9 and half out of 10.

I have enjoyed and loved ALL the books and movies of Dune; but never realized until now that it all can be thought of as a tragedy, "every rebellion has the seeds of its own destruction".

Tragedy is a matter of scale. Things work out eventually (after another 10,000 years if you figure out who the story is really about).

Great production of Children of Dune, I'm really impressed. Even the mighty David Lynch could not contain Herbert's Dune book series, Next is God Emperor of Dune. That would be even more challenging. But our technologies advance and this makes it possible.

from dune to Messiah to Children of Dune i hope they make the God emperor of Dune then Heretics of Dune to the grand finale Chapterhouse this is astonishing oh so much, it really hits me in the heart i do know of that painful path Leto 2nd has taken it leads to a straight and narrow golden path then to the great scattering across the entire universe, thank you again for posting this masterpiece finally got to see it fully i just hope there is more made.

Farad'N was actually a nice guy. A voice of reason who was in a position to unite the houses of Corrino and Atreides. Irulan who was the daughter of Shaddam married an Atreides, so I see no reason why Ghanima can't do a similar thing.

That's good to hear! I haven't seen any of the Dune movies - old or new - yet. But I do really like the Directors of both. This series was a surprise KZbin algorithmic pop-up for me, so I jumped on it! Need a feel-good mental break after this frenetic election period. It's perfect!

I couldn't finish watching either of the new ones, they were so bad. I've never seen these, they're awesome. I LOVE how they use Lynch's Baron Harkonnen. I love Lynch's version too, but it's nothing like the book. This one is. Some say the book can't be adapted to screen, and I tend to agree, but this one is really strong.
