You just confirmed me wanting to do this I have pcos I'm 43 and I had infertility issues due to that had to loose 30 pounds at 25 to get thd Clomid. I was successful at on the first round of Clomid and went on to have one daughter without assistance and my last daughter at 31 via IUI after 18 months of meds and trying. I also got pregnant at 20 naturally but didnt know due to irregular cycles. I unfortunately had incompetent cervix ans had to deliver a baby at 21 weeks and my son didnt live. Needless to say I have girls that are 17,15 and 11 with pcos but now that im older ive been having issues with loosing weight and have high blood pressure. So I have been pondering getting this done because my weight is getting out of control so I made it through the journey having kids so I wish you the best of luck in your endeavor its a joy having kids and ita heartbreaking when u cant make it happen. I have a cousin with the same issue but she is being told she has no chance now that she is in her 40's and needs a donor. But I will see how your surgery goes and make my mind totally up God Bless

Prayers went up as soon as I saw the alert! I had PCOS and it went untreated; as a result I had to have a full hysterectomy at age 37. I could not have children. I am considering bariatric surgery now though, because I have a few health issues and I've been dieting since I was in elementary school. You have to do what's best for your wellbeing! I am happy for you and that you are making these decisions at a young age! Much love!! 💕

Many blessings Faye! I have PCOS and have had hormonal, fertility, and weight gain issues. Don't give up on yourself. What most people don't realize is, PCOS gets worse with age. Ask a bunch of questions and follow through. I'm 7 months pregnant with a child I was told I wouldn't be able to have without fertility treatment. FYI fertility treatment didn't help me, we tried. Do what you gotta do, but always keep your head up.

Having surgery was the best choice I ever made! I have also been able to keep the weight off. I got the sleeve. Years later my husband did right before our wedding & he’s doing great. Good luck Chile!!!! 🥰

Chile...I got the SLEEVE in 2017, 8 months before my wedding and girl I was SNATCHED!! Highest weight 250lbs, Lowest weight 165lbs, Currently 190lbs🤦‍♀️. This was not an easy way out. Huntee, I still have to work my tool being almost 3 years out and Quarantine is the devil.🙅‍♀️ I'm struggling but I'm a work in progress. If I did it before (190lbs) I can do it again! BLESSINGS!!

I'm struggling to get it back off but I'm determined to get back down to 160. It's definitely a tool and not the easy way out especially mentally.

I take liquid B12, multi and hair skin and nails vitamins. It’s been 3 years and I have no hair loss or anything. Also add calcium in there too. Some people don’t supplement from the food portions we now have to eat. They aren’t diligent and pay no mind to doctor orders. I just clipped my nails short as hell last month. Already long again from my vitamins. I go on strolls 4-5 times a week avg 3 miles. It’s enough to make me feel good & Keep dropping lbs. we got this!

Once you start keto you cannot stop though. It's a lifetime lifestyle change. Once you start eating "normally" again you gain it all back and it's even harder to lose again.

Hi. I'm in the process of getting approval for gastric bypass as well. I'm 51 years old and someone asked why I am doing this now. I have high blood pressure and high cholesterol, as well as sleep apnea and chronic pain from scoliosis. I want to feel better and get rid of some of these ailments. I want to finally live! I have the opposite struggle, I’ve had intestinal failure since I was 16 years old and I’m now 19, so I can’t gain weight. My body can’t break down food so I’ve been on a liquid diet for years. I’ll be lifting you up in my prayers! I pray that everything goes well in your surgery and that the recovery process is smooth sailing for you. Word of advice is to just make sure you to take your pain meds on time, I learned from that mistake hahahahaha. Sending much love your way. ❤️💕

Stay safe and we’re all here to support you! Something that helped me lose weight was actually making sure to drink enough water. A lot of times when we think we’re hungry it’s actually thirst. I drink 10 cups of water spread out in my day. My portion sizes have literally been cut in half and I don’t have to eat as much because I’m always half full. I’ve lost weight without exercise even though we’re in quarantine.

👏🏻I had gastric bypass surgery 13 years ago. Best.decision.ever. I was 320lbs and now 180lbs. Is is NOT "the easy way out". You still have to eat right and exercise. The surgery is just another tool. Just work it like you should and you will be fine. Good luck to you. 😁😁💜💜

I wanted a sleeve but they couldn’t make it work with my hiatal hernia so I got a gastric bypass. It is NOT the easy way out, you will go through every emotional craziness you can imagine and it will take a while for you to re-learn how to eat. You will have a fast loss for about 6 months, then you will have to focus hard to keep that going, and develop habits that will keep you succeeding for the rest of your life. But it is so worth all the work you will put into it. Blessings to you, and I will keep you in my prayers!

Faye, I'm so proud of you! I'm 63yrs young and had the gastric a year ago! I was happy to hear how well you've researched the procedure and going in with eyes open; and I wouldn't have expected any less from you. You also, realizing the surgery is a tool to help you attain your goal and not some miracle fix.😉 I found the preop diet made a big difference and gave me a good boost after surgery. I was released from hospital in 24 hrs! I never had any nausea or pain. The staff was shocked when I went in for my 1 week appt. I was moving around so well that thought my surgery had been cancelled!😀 My surgeon only did Bariatric surgeries, also; made me feel more comfortable. I look forward to the future when you announce your pregnancy!!! GO GET YOURS GIRL!!! 💞👍

Wishing you a speedy recovery. I know people who have had gastric sleeve and they had amazing results. I personally have had liposuction and a breast reduction, and they were worth every penny. I did experience hair loss after liposuction but it did grow back.

Just watched your video for the first time. I had the VSG 3 years ago and I have no regrets. I lost about 60lbs and let me tell you, it is definitely not the easy way out. Lol it is definitely work. I pray you will be fine in your journey. Keep us updated on how you do. My insurance would not pay either because for mine. So had to pay out of pocket. Again, it was soooooo worth it. The struggle is real, so exercise is a big part of my life especially during this pandemic. 💪🏽💪🏽❤️

But I was so moved by this video that I wanted to take the time to give you props for the strength that you displayed in this video. I have the sister disease to PCOS, Endometriosis, so I know how difficult talking about reproductive issues is and how vulnerable even saying the words "I want to be a mother" can be when you have one of these diseases. I've struggled with my weight and hormones too and I share your dream of being a mom so I'm over here cheering you on! Changing your diet will be one of the toughest parts but stick with it, it will really make a difference in the way you feel and the state of your body. I’m LEGIT crying. I literally said on last Thursday I think it may be time to just have the sleeve and I too always was like “it’s the easy way I wanna work for it and get it honest!” (It’s the Capricorn in me). I ALSO have PCOS and tried. Girl I’ve tried and tried and tried to lose weight (and lost 40 pounds) and couldn’t get anything else lost...low carb, calorie counting, keto, gym for an hour three times a week and I’m not losing any weight. I have a son but I want another and...all that to say...I FEEL YOU. I SEE YOU. I’M SOOOOO HAPPY FOR YOU ❤️

I don't plan on having any surgeries (who knows what the future holds) but I've recently changed my diet and I'm starting to get more active cuz like you said I'm trying to be as healthy as possible when I make my hubby a baby daddy lol It's funny because I was just thinking about vlogging my weight loss journey and I've been apprehensive because I wasn't sure people would like that type of content but you've given me that extra push I needed

I had a gastric bypass 8 yrs ago, lost 150lbs and haven’t had any regain...best decision of my life! Be strict with yourself and relearn a healthy relationship with food with your therapist (I did) good luck, you are worth every ounce of effort it takes
