Michael lo, they did in fact miss at 2 occasions and only got third time lucky, which is not mentioned here. It is in fact an engeneering marvel as the mapping system of that mine was way out of date and new maps had to be drawn with existing data. They also had to relocate the drilling station. The final hole was drilled at about 800yards deep into a tunnel of about 10 feet wide and best of all its not even drilled streight down. Because of ground instabilities the hole had so be drilled a few degrees off vertical down. That is some serious mathematics and skill to keep that thing in course. Something neither of the companies involved has done to this extend.. these engeneers, scientists and all involved rewrote history, science, mathematics and geography as we know it, which is something done well.

Must have smelled awful down there, with 30+ sweaty men not having a shower for months, pissing and shitting on the floor in a corner somewhere. Sadly a lot of people think that they were out of the weeds as soon as they were rescued, but no, most of them suffer mental issues like post traumatic stress to this day, and are unable to lead normal lives. As I recall, one of them stated that every time he goes to sleep, he has nightmares about being trapped in a cave, with rocks falling down from the ceiling while the ground is trembling and there's a constant roar like thunder or machinery. Unfortunately the rescue itself was so fucking expensive the state feels like they should be grateful as it is, and go on with their lives. Point taken in part I'd say.

@Evergreen14006 жыл бұрын
Jeradh 2. It’s related to the video in the context I described,most people wouldn’t be thinking about getting their medicine if they got trapped in a mine thousands of ft bellow the earth so I was saying that while all this was going on I remember watching the news and thinking I’d panic because I couldn’t get my pain meds that was one of the things that let me know I had a problem so I ended up quitting on my own. So I understand it’s a weird thought but it was about addiction an addict would understand what I was getting at,1 of the miners was actually an alcoholic and was going through withdrawals down there I guarantee he was more worried about getting a drink then his family or even dying at first. Idk if you smoke cigarettes but if you do imagine being in jail and not being able to smoke it’s one of the shittiest parts at first yes you want to be free but you really really really just want a cig 1st.
