Modbap is a hip hop production (mainly boom bap; but I do any of the modern Hiphop drum patterns as well) mixed with modular synthesis. It’s a California style of Hiphop. I don’t have a euro rack, so I use my guitar pedals(Poly Beebo & Zoia), VCV rack 2, and/or Bitwig. I also do some generative music to make some of the samples I use. It’s fun.
