In summer, Ballina, in front of the water slides are sand flats where their are schools of large whiting and thus, huge flathead. There is an awesome rock fishing spot called the peg. North wall and Trestles have huge Jewfish . The Serpentine and all mangrove areas have heaps of large mud crabs, drop a net in on high tide beside the oyster shop on the Serpentine.

Nice fishes. Do they let you fish around the Marina?
@mudgut692 жыл бұрын
Fished there many times. There are Trevally but also lots of Mangrove Jack. I skip cast that area at night. Very productive in the warmer months.

Brunswick Heads is beautiful ........ Jealous much. If l may ask......what was the deal with the braid not allowed on the plane ? I assume that was as carry on ? Would a unspooled reel and rod be ok ? A travel rod ?
@flickwithmick3 жыл бұрын
Was a beautiful place man, i dont know the exact reasons to be honest man.. but one thing i know is dont carry anything on... check everything fishing related into luggage
