Imagine helping the cops catch 2 car thiefs and they give you a speeding ticket and then telling you that you should’ve just pulled over

Sounds about right for your typical police officers 🥴 I wouldn't call them for help if my life depended on it. I could call them about an armed intruder actively trying to break into my house and SOMEHOW I would end up being the one fined or arrested

@@Jaybiv yes thays what happens of you look it up and sometimes the crock gets put while your in jail it's a fucked up system where your not allowed to defend yourself. Speaking if this was true it probably isn't some if not all stories are fake theres no where a cop will tell you to pull over and give you a speeding ticket you have rights use them 🤔. And don't try and act tuff you probably would still call a cop when someone breaks in your home regardless if you yourself are armed or not I hear you guys time and time again but still would have police 😂😂

Someone broke into my house once. After beating the shit out of them (because my kids were asleep in the next room I saw red obviously) I threw them down the stairs and locked the door. The guy was on drugs and still was banging on my door screaming obscenities. I called the police obviously. They drive past. I'm on my upstairs patio so I call again, same thing they drive past (not even into the parking lot just past on the main road) I call once more and tell them I'm on my porch and the guy is STILL downstairs banging trying to get back in. Cops come. I let them inside after that arrest the guy. Apparently his face was bruised up pretty badly. They used that as a reason to arrest me stating it was "excessive". But only the one cop was an asshole. He was saying how I wasted his time and I should have been "outside DOWNSTAIRS waving him down from the beginning!" I said are you fucking kidding me? I should have put myself in danger so you didn't miss the address again? He was on an obvious power trip all the cops at the station told me "sorry he's always like this, ignore him and keep your head down the charges won't stick" they didn't obviously. But I still got arrested in my own home aftering Being attacked AND had to spend a night in jail waiting to get bailed out. As well as I had fractured bones in my hand. So shitty night made worse all because I invited cops inside my house because it was raining. Thank God my kids were asleep so only my husband got to see me arrested. So yeah that one doesn't surprise me sadly.

Solid advice. 2 quick stories: • #1 - When I was attending college (90's) in OK I would drive home to TX on the weekends. I can't tell you how many times I was harassed by truckers. One guy was insistent and not getting the hint so I called 911 but got the next county's sheriff's dpt. The county I was driving through didn't have the 911 system setup at that time. So they transferred me to the sheriff's dpt and said they'd try to find him. The good thing about this is a few months later I saw a sign posted with the sheriff's dpt's #. At least they were making progress. 🤷‍♀️ • #2 - Another time when I was traveling between OK and TX I was speeding and racing this other driver (stupid I know, but I was younger) a cop pulled me over and I asked him "Why didn't you get the other guy? He was driving faster than me. His response "I couldn't catch him". True story. 😆

I have one: A while ago I was coming home from a late shift. It was around 12 when I left so traffic was practically nonexsistant. When I went to merge onto the highway however, there was a red truck that refused to let me in. I tried to merge infront of him but as soon as he seen me he sped up. I braked and merged behind him figuring he had to get somewhere fast but he ended up getting behind me as we went further down the road. He had his highbeams on and it was really hard to see the driver. I started to get suspicious that he was following me so I took an exit that wasn't mine. He took it too and I was starting to get uneasy. I further tested my theory by running a yellow light and he still followed after it had turned red. I was getting really scared now and I wasn't about to stop at the red-light ahead. I ran that and he did too. I started panicking because my phone was dead and I had been trying to charge it but the battery was still too low. I pulled off on a random street and he followed. I knew the area well though, so I weaved between a few streets before speeding back out onto another main road and heading to the police station. By this point I was terrified and I didn't know if he was still following me or not. I went to where I thought the police station was but it had moved in recent times so I went to my mother's instead. I pounded on the door when I got there, horrified that he was going to come down the street. My mom answered the door though and I ran inside trying to explain the situation between frantic sobs. We didn't call the police because I had lost him back at that neighborhood. That was one of the scariest moments of my life and I still get uneasy around red trucks

The only thing that would make me kill some punk is them breaking into my house while I was sleeping in the middle of the night,or they’re literally trying to kill me or one of my family members. That’s why the story was nonsense. No police officer on earth is going to tell you to do that. In that situation, they’d have told them to drive to the nearest police station or flag down an officer, if possible. Cops would never tell you to stay in a dangerous situation like that. Even if you’ve had to justifiably shoot someone, if there’s a chance they’ve got buddies nearby or the scene itself isn’t safe for whatever reason, they’ll tell you to get yourself to safety, then get a hold of them.

Theses stories are fake. Distracting, fun to listen to but fakes. No cop in his right mind will say that. And you don't even need a gun. It's like stepping on the gaz hasn't a thing. You're driving a 1000kg killing machine. And don't say "what if " if you're in a traffic jam what do you thing a carjaker will do?? Absolutely nothing. They don't go after people jammed in traffic. A red light? Burn it. Better to maybe have a ticket that to be carjacked. I only keep a baseball bat just in case in both of my cars just in case. In 31 years of driving I never have to use it. I punched a guy once because he almost killed me and my kids because of his careless driving and that's it. And it was because my kids were in the car with me. If I were alone I had just ingnored him. English isn't my language.

Ya know, as I’m sure many are, I am always doubtful of validity of these stories, occasionally I’ll hear something in a story every once and a while that i think is actually true. The number 2 story I believe, because only a cop would be so dumb as to suggest that instead of going over the speed limit on a highway with nobody else on it, to rather STOP YOUR VEHICLE and let the bad people who are following you catch up and surround your car with nobody else around. At a time where there was no such animal as a cell phone to call for help on. What this moron basically suggested was that they sit and wait for whatever demise comes their way. Again, only a cop would give such poor advice, you literally can’t make that crap up either.

The first story I can somewhat relate to. (This happened just in June of this year somewhere in the mid part) my mom and I were driving back home from lunch and we arrived at the house 15 mins later… we saw this guy (I think he was a neighbor around our neighborhood) we both waited in the car to see if he would walk away and out of nowhere he was standing outside close by the car window on my side and I felt like my fight or flight response kicked in right away so I tried to stay calm but another part of me felt like I needed to escape, so around 5 minutes my mom decided to roll down the window and he asked us if we could drive him just a block to his house and the walk wasn’t even that far away. My mom told him something (I forgot what she said but she lied to him about something) then he asked us if we liked nirvana and she said yeah he’s good but a little bit after the guy eventually left walking away and I just sat there very shocked like I felt like I couldn’t move from what happened. We waited till he crossed the road and I just felt very uncomfortable but I was glad I had someone with me. If I could I would’ve been the one to say bye and leave without saying anything but after that experience I’m never going to park in the driveway when people walk by or past the house. (I think that guy could’ve been the one that lived near a house around my neighborhood cause I’ve seen him around a lot of times and he just gives me bad vibes)

It was about midnight and I was wasted, should've never been driving but I was a stupid kid who didn't know better. I stopped and the guy asked for a ride because his girlfriend kicked him out of the car in the middle of nowhere. I literally was so drunk that I asked him if he'd be willing to drive and he said "no, I'm shitfaced and don't have a license ". @michellewelchman9245
@michellewelchman9245 3 жыл бұрын
I would have much rather got a costly speeding ticket than just left my car and risked my life even further getting away from two thugs who wanted to steal my car and do God only knows what to me or whoever I had inside the car with me. Sorry, I will take my chances and speed away as fast as humanly or car or both possible. This story was a very possible life and death, fight or flight situation. The guy was right to speed away for his life and that of his friends. Sometimes, yes it can be a relief to have the police pull you over if you are running or speeding for your life to get away from some one who has ulterior motive of doing you harm. As for the ticket, it's far better that than your safety or life. A ticket can be paid and it goes away but your life cannot be replaced. If that cop was truly in the know and really understood that situation he should have dismissed the ticket realizing it was a situation that the driver was speeding only trying to get away from immenint danger because his life and safety were in immediate danger. He really should not have been issued a ticket under this situation but no matter he is safe and alive and that matters much more.

Is there any reason you were speeding? "Yes our lives were being threatened" Though we can confirm that we are only here for revenue, that'll be a $100.

For the second story, why would they give him a speeding ticket? They could have had guns like I’m not going to pull over and lock the doors just for them to shoot through my window 🤦‍♂️

You should have pulled over locked your doors ,then when your car was stolen you would have gotten the same result from the police."No help what so ever".Thank God for comon sense. We gotta do what we gotta do to survive out here.

Exactly we’ve called them a good two handfuls of times for help w the tweekers tht use to live beside us smh down to having children try breaking into homes cux they knew it was minor no big deal what but even tho we caught them Amd the adults being the lookout for them and telling them exactly what to do 😡 and a witness seen them too! Tht unless we caught them on vid or the cops pulled up n caught them in the act doin it tht there’s nothing they can do what!!!! 😡 well guess y’all gonna be back cux next time I’ll handle my home myself 💪🏼 and I did and I went to jail for two days til court and I beat the case 😂

@8:40 I had a friend who was in an accident rolling his car once. His arm broke in half at about mid forearm because he had his arm out the window. He was in shock and started running out in the road waving at people that drove by with blood all over him and his arm hanging off barely attached by the skin. He said people were swerving and hitting the gas as soon as he came into view(he thinks a few of them were ladies driving alone. Finally a big burly dude stopped and took him to the hospital. He laughs when he looks back on it and says "I must've looked like something straight out of a zombie movie trying to get their brains".....lol

You had no reminder that you needed gas cause your gas gauge was broke, usually when you go on a long road trip that’s usually the first thing is you check is your gas even if your gas gauge is broken you just go fill up anyways!!

I think were ALL interested in telling that cop to do a better job. Who was he? He shouldnt continue like that. The worse part is that this could be the police dept as a whole and not that one cop.
