I have a hard time getting invested in these stories. Sometimes I'm able to, sometimes I'm not, possibly because I only listen with half an ear while at work. (They're all wonderfully produced, of course, so it's not that) But that last story was a rollercoaster. Totally on board the whole time. First time I've felt a chill that strong in a while.

Psychosis was by far the best. (Spoilers ahead) For most of the story I was convinced the guy was batshit crazy... but after the scene with the psychiatrist trying to explain to him what was going on... I was sure he was right. "A mail that somehow got through" - that very line gave it away, plus that he had a perfect explanation for everything... too perfect! When I heard that I knew instantly that the guy was right... and that, had I been him, I would never have opened the door. Amazing!

"Jeff the Killer" and "Sonic.exe." have become infamous among the creepypasta community for their horrible storytelling and clichés. The photograph that started it all, and is far scarier than the actual story, also has a sad backstory behind it. It's an altered photo of a girl who was bullied relentlessly and may have killed herself thanks to people who, say, altered her photo into ghoulish monsters. www.dailydot.com/lol/4chan-x-origins-jeff-the-killer/ I would stay far away from the hoodied embarrassment if I were you.
@chillingtalesfordarknights8 жыл бұрын
Thanks, but we worked hard on our production of the original Jeff the Killer story, and we stand by our decision to produce it, as it brought us a tremendous number of new listeners, many of whom have now grown up and moved on to better stories (hopefully ours!). Regardless, this poorly written, cliche-ridden tale, whether you like it or not, has its place in online horror history.
@espalorp32868 жыл бұрын
I agree fully. Jeff the killer is a bad failpasta, even for failpasta standards. It's gutwrenching. Not the cp itself but the, *COUGH COUGH COUGH* ARTWORK *COUGH COUGH* FANGIRLS *COUGH* But admittedly CTDN did a good reading of it so it gets a pass.
@ruviaaa8 жыл бұрын
That made it even more scarier don't you think? That you are seeing a photo of a dead girl all along, the feeling that you feared that photo.. What if that girl IS Jeff? Taking revenge on all of the bullies or maybe just everyone? That's pretty scary for me. I still love Jeff the Killer:)

Thank you, Snowflake. Jeff the killer almost ruined the video for me. I almost hit dislike and rage quit the video. I hadn't heard this version before. It literally hurts my soul that it is so well circulated. The only think that stopped me is thinking not to blame them for the author's shortcomings. In the end, I ended up really liking the rest. It was almost ruined by Jeff. The video almost became Jeff's latest victim.

Jeff the Killer is a classic, in the sense that it was the first famous Creepypasta. At the time, for all the wrong reasons. Now? Still for the wrong reasons, but, provides a great example as to how to not do a horror story. Jeff the Killer is a horribly written story with awful plot points, a self insert Mary-Sue, a lot of bullshit and a handful of clichés. Is it the worst story ever? Not at all. If rewritten and told better, this wouldn't be that bad of a story. And I won't deny that the original Jeff the Killer picture fucking disturbs me.

I believe that is an opinion I think Jeff the killer is a original piece of a different style. a story from a 3rd person point of view as if it was the narrators diary of something of the such. it is a piece that is original the way Charles Dickens starts "call me Ishmael" lol jk it sucks 😂
@AJsFigures7 жыл бұрын
