Chime delete 2007 up Chevrolet Silverado avalanche Tahoe suburban

This is the video that you’ve been looking for, my vehicle is a 2007 avalanche with the Bose radio but I’m sure the chime wire configuration is the same for many other models.

I’ll update tomorrow, there’s a good chance the highs got knocked out from clipping the other wires first. I’ll gladly let y’all know.

Godsend! I was wondering why the front speakers and the chime weren’t working. I think the previous owner disconnected all the speakers completely to solve the chime issue. Now I can get the speakers working again while silencing the chime.

That was the can bus wires you cut .Alot of newer vechiles has the can bus running through the radio .If the can bus can not communicate with the rest of the electronics it may affect other things

Only thing I noticed was the highs on the door speaker, I have a false reading on my oil pressure sending unit and that chime had to go.

only stopped the chime when my key is in the ignition and a door os opened on my 07 burb. better than nothing but still chimes for hood open, hatch or doors opened when running

Nice. Piece.of sh,!t oil pressure sending unit sensor Bell is pure hell. Perhaps do a video on how you were able to get to that wires behind the radio
