Chimpanzee Trail First Exploration Video

We are celebrating a major milestone! For the first time, the Zoo’s chimpanzee community began exploring the trail system that connects our International Chimpanzee Complex.
The apes traveled from the Deborah J. Simon Cultural Center to the outdoor yard connected to the Chimpanzee Cognition Center. They were bold and confident, and particularly interested in observing the kangaroos.
The grand opening of the International Chimpanzee Complex, presented by Central Indiana Honda Dealers, happens Memorial Day Weekend.
