You'll love it. Enjoy your trip! I did this flight when it went via BNE in business.

It really is the best airline and you should in future head up to the most friendliest country in the free world, Taiwan.

@@AndyAussie agree 💯... Look out for my videos of Kaoshiung and Taipei at the end of this series. They are so friendly indeed.

That was a good video. Loved your honest views. Yeah. There’s a bit of a war between those 2 KZbinrs I’ve seen over the Vistara thing. Lol

Fantastic review Ryan. I've always found Taiwanese carriers such as EVA and China Airlines to be among the best economy class offerings going. It was an absolute pleasure to fly them across the Tasman to Brisbane earlier on the year - a very classy experience with beautiful looking cabin interior too on the A350! Hopefully you can do a StarLux review soon!
@ryansofly13 сағат бұрын
Fares on Starlux were crazy high when I was planning this trip. I did have them in my sights. Next time, I suppose.

Great video 🥂 I'm looking forward to this series. You spend more time flying out of Tulla than you do Adelaide, you should move here 😉
@ryansofly22 сағат бұрын
Well, flying out of ADL internationally is just crazy expensive! Factoring in the extra flight and hotel in Melbourne still works out cheaper!
@josephphillips924313 сағат бұрын
Looks nice. Thanks for showing the mainland carriers and Vietnam previously. I hope in a future video you can try Turkish and even Fiji. I've seen coverage about flying Fiji cheap to the US and Turkish will come in and try undersell Qantas and Emirates to Europe I guess(?). Look forward to this series Ryan, especially the food 😋

Yes QF points are soooooo useful for trips like this. This entire series was mostly funded by points! Asian airlines continue to drive home the point just how much they can offer for far less. Perhaps it's due to their lower operational costs.

Dear Ryan I really enjoyed your trip reports. It's highly informative and you have an amazing way with words. I am getting my Japanese beste to follow your amazing channel too. Thank you for posting and I look forward to seeing more of your videos. Best wishes, Hsiang from Adelaide, Australia (also😅)

Thrilled to see your latest series has arrived Ryan. I know there will be valuable information forthcoming. The cabin layout and economy experience again confirms the high standards that Asian airlines offer including dedicated crew. I can’t help but think of a comparison in the back of my mind to the equivalent product Qantas provides…China Airlines are definitely a strong consideration for my future flight plans, cheers mate👌🏻

And this is why QF points are soooooo useful. All my ground accrual of QF points go into trips like this one. No way will I EVER fly QF international. Such a waste of oxygen.

Totally agree that this is one of the nicest cabins flying in the skies today and it looks (and feels) even better in person compared to on screen. If my memory doesn't fail me, the other two airlines that I know of that have elevator music in their lavatories are EVA Air (on their 787-10s) and SQ (on their A350s at least). 10:07 I think that sentence is loosely translated as could all passengers please give your attention to the safety demonstration (although it's too fast, I can't quite translate it word for word). Loved your videos as always, and it was so lovely to catch up with you in Taipei. Hopefully the next time won't be too long away. Take care my friend! :)

Yeah 10:07 was a little too shee shor shor for me to catch. Hahahahaha.... Gawd, I cannot wait to go back to Taiwan!

OMG Ryan, what took you so long to realise to order the Asian option when flying Asian airlines lol All jokes aside, I think CI is definitely underrated. Their service and catering (Asian option at least 😛) are top notch. Looking forward to your upcoming trip reports 😁

wow that is a beautiful airline. Were they strict with your baggage

@@ryansofly Did they weigh the carry on ? Were you overweight with checked bag
@ryansofly14 сағат бұрын
@@duaneowens7777 no they thankfully didn't. You could see my luggage in the background opening sequence as I did the intro. That was 11kg in total. That's all I normally travel with.

I fly in shorts whenever I can, even in winter. In fact, I walked into Sapporo in shorts and t shirt, much to the amusement of the hotel staff receiving me at check in who commented my passport feels so cold, how can I be in shorts. Hahahaha....

How do you think China Airlines compares to the other Taiwanese Airlines like EVA Air?
@ryansofly22 сағат бұрын
I haven't flown EVA yet. I reckon they're more or less the same, much like JAL vs ANA. There's also the stylish new Taiwanese airline STARLUX.
@AndyAussie22 сағат бұрын
China Airlines and Eva are pretty much the same. Both staff are wonderful but CI have a nicer cabin.

Enjoyed the video Ryan. Also noticed a little dig at Sam Chui. Poor Sam, he’s coping it from every one lately. His most recent video was him attempting to explain that he’s not a PR Spin vlogger.
@ryansofly14 сағат бұрын
@@grantt4691 I saw that video. While all that is true, he'd also have to work closely with the respective airline's PR department to ensure the right message is being communicated. I think that's the issue many have with his content, the lack of disclosure.
