This is such a great example of how well Con creates ensembles that are such perfect fits for songs has selected; the dynamic duo of Con and George, with the added clout and skills of Dusty, create such a phenomenal rendition of a classic...and those young ladies, wow. I seem to gravitate especially to the songs recorded in this 'Red Carpet Studio'. Thanks for all the great music HSCC!!

I haven't heard this song for a long time, and I had to listen to the Doobies original after hearing this version, and I have to say that I think this version blows the original out of the water, in my opinion.

Wow! These guys got it goin' on! A lot of bands cover that song, but very few do it well. These guys pretty much nailed it. The lead was good, but could'a been a little closer to the original, but other than that, great! The old ranchy looking guy had the tone on that Les Paul perfect! And he didn't miss a lick. Really goid. Keyboard hit the nice runs, backup singers were great. These guys are just a damn good band!

There are some hella good cover bands on YT-to name a few not in any particular order: Lexington Lab Band, Leonid & Friends, Martin Miller, Foxes and Fossils, all excellently engineered and in many cases better than the originals in my opinion. Surfing cover bands is my latest obsession.

Little known fact about this recording by the Doobie Bros. It was widely known as the "best in-studio recording" for many years...The Curve on a spectrum analyzer known at the "China Grove Curve" was used for years for duplication. Bravo here...YOU NAILED IT !!!

Amazing Cover! The guitars are great, but the secret to this sounding so good is the rhythm section. The drummer and bass player are locked in so well and nail the groove perfectly. The bassist absolutely nails Tiran Porter's funky groove on this.

Seriously George's rhythm opening on this is the best ever, even better then the Doobie themselves. It's Epic. The timing on the riff has to be perfect to make the magic happen. Honestly every player in this is better then the original. Dusty's solo is a masterpiece.

The trick to playing this live is setting your delay pedal time to the correct song tempo, then hoping your drummer stays on it. If the repo drifts, that delay gets real sloppy.....

Everything about this rendition of a Classic Song, is Perfection Personified, everything. Hat's off to the Audio Engineer Dave Ross, you have created a Masterpiece.
