China robot conference: Hyper-realistic androids show off emotional range in Beijing

Visitors were treated to a display of vivid androids among others at the 2023 World Robot Conference (WRC) in China's capital Beijing on Thursday, with new technological advancements that upgraded the humanoid robots' micro-expressions and gestures.
The human-like robots won praise from some visitors while others expressed shock at their hyper-realistic appearance.
