🇨🇳 China’s GIANT Noodle Recipe 过桥米线 21 Ingredients in 1 Gallon Bowl 🤯

You cannot visit the largest town of Yunnan (or possibly anywhere in South or Southwest China for that matter) without becoming incredibly addicted to NOODLES. From a country that undoubtedly has every kind shape, color and delicious recipe imaginable, this is definitely one of the top five nationwide. Cross bridge noodles are famous locally, but we are fortunate to have them right near the source in downtown Kunming.
There is a legend of dish, got its name, this specific restaurant specializes in one unique and beautiful addition (chrysanthemum flowers!), and I also am lucky in our timing today, we get to have our noodles with the owner and the staff as they take their own lunch break.
It is experiences like these that I love to share, because they are one of the many reasons why I am just in love with Chinese people. I think if we could ALL have a few lunchtime hangouts together like this, the world would be a much more peaceful and full of light.

Hi Joel and Yan Lan what a noodle bowl so many delicious things that went in yum yum all the pork pieces cured and deep fried, quite a satisfying dish, everyone is friendly and so attentive, the owner kept passing behind you making sure all your needs were met😊lol yes its an aquarium😂 I love this it is a fun bowl of noodles to have, enjoyed the story of the cross bridge noodles, safe travels ❤

What a great experience and sweet exchanges with the owner and staff. I remember seeing legs of ham hanging from the ceiling when I ate in a restaurant in Kunming. So nice next to the charcoal grill spot. Blessings on your trip!

Heres 1 reason why Chinese food is so good. They sometimes eat foods that have very little flavor naturally. (tofu, noodles, etc) so they have to rely on sauces and herbs to make it taste good. and they are good at making sauces!!
