What a great decision to visit Changsha, Hunan. Even though the weather was terrible and flooding prevented us from seeing most of the sights, there were plenty of street food outlets and restaurants for me to explore. Hunan food is really wonderfully flavoursome and uses fresh chilli as opposed to dry chillies and Sichuan peppercorns , and is actually quite hard to find in the west. When you do find it its usually a pale imitation , so gastronauts, consider visiting Hunan province when in China.

I have been subscribed for only a short while, maybe 2-3 months - great channel and great video. The food experiences are something to behold. Shame about the AC and need to voiceover but better to be comfortable than have perfection. Thanks for making these videos!

*THINK ABOUT THIS PEOPLE: not even 75 years ago from this video there was TENS OF MILLIONS of Chinese in starvation as World War Two had absolutely destroyed the infrastructure across China.* *Even in the "big cities" of Shanghai and Guangzhou there were people living IN the streets and were begging for a simple piece of morsel as food was rationed and doled out carefully and people were existing on basically just-above-starvation rations........* That's why watching this video with the abundance of food BEYOND IMAGINATION is SOOOOOOOOOOO........
